Thank you
I’m a revert, I’m 15 and a hijabi. I plan to move to a Muslim country when I can and I think I’ll wear niqab. I just really like the idea of niqab, being judged purely on my actions and personality. The only thing is I don’t know if I’d be strong enough to wear it in the west... May Allah give me the strength.
Where Are You From ?
Ameen 🤲🏼
May Allah bless you sister, and grant you the ability to make hijrah
You will surely look like a arab princess in your abaya
Ai dont no
When I was growing up I just assumed anyone wearing a hijab or niqab was royalty
Beautiful comment😁
I still do. : )
Lol
I thought the same 😊
that’s literally such a beautiful thought :)
Lately, I've been so attracted to the idea of using a niqab, even though I am not really a religious person. I think it's so great that no one can get to see you and judge you by your looks. I would really like to wear one, I use glasses just as you!
I've been learning about islam too.
How are you Nikte, it's been a year. However, I hope it's not too late to ask, may I join you in your journey of seeking Islam?
may Allah assist you on your path and give you what you seek and more my sister
Im 17 and i started wearing niqab last year and im soo happy for it 🥰 Alhamdulillah ❤️
Sister I'm 15 and I started it 3 months ago and I feel really confident and feel secured I'm ALHAMDULILLAH HAPPY TOO
I wanna start too!! Insha allah
InshaAllah I’ll be wearing the niqab within the month or so. I bought many niqabs, abayas, jilbabs etc. Make Dua for me Allah makes it easy.
May Allah make it easy for you sis
Wow! I started wearing niqab some months ago. May Allah make it easy for me😍.
So true about the privacy... I really ENJOY it Alhamdoulillah and think that this what makes the confiance goes up more and more... Alhamdulillah the best part of my life till now is from when started wearing niqab it brought to me strength hapiness comfort confidence Alhamdulillah
Alhamduillah MashaAllah ❤️❤️
I'm 16 and honestly I really want to try the niqab and practise it on Monday and Thursday but do it consistently yet I need to research more
Hey I also want to wear the niqab and I'm 16
Yeah same and im 16 its kinda hard but insyaalah it will happen
Me too! I don't have a proper niqab but i was practising with some diys in my room
@@akn5354 haha SAMEE. I’m a convert and I’m 16. I’ll be in my room with hijab on and putting a black towel or scarf across my face to see what I’d look like as a niqabi 😭😭
I’m 17 and have considered it too. May Allah SWT make it easy for us🤲🏽❤️
I haven’t reverted yet but I dream of wearing a niqab everyday, I’m obsessed.
InshaAllah may Allah make it easy for you
May Allah SWT bless u & give u strength to enter the beautiful Deen of Islam , sister ...❤️

May you be blessed and may Allah make your way as a niqabi easy.
How did it go sister
I started recently wearing niqab.
I kept slipping away to not being the best I could before and I feel much closer to religion and more confidence to be myself and not needing to prove myself to anyone.
As a revert I found it helps me as a Muslim better than hijab which I struggled with before where as I don't seem to have that problem with niqab.
@RITESH KUMAR JAYSWAL I wear a niqab not a burqa, I do have triple layer niqabs which have an optional extra to cover the eyes if I wanted but I don't use that part, my eyes are visible with my niqabs.
@RITESH KUMAR JAYSWAL I do not feel it is necessary to cover my eyes or want to.
No I am not from India.
@RITESH KUMAR JAYSWAL I've co.e to the conclusion you're trolling now and that's not what fitna means.
@RITESH KUMAR JAYSWAL well that's your opinion and if you really feel so strongly ask a scholar in the meantime I am no longer engaging in conversation because I don't feed the trolls.
So thankful for sisters like u, I was having a lot of doubts with my niqab all of a sudden, pls pray that I remain steadfast
So true! The best part is the privacy ‼️‼️ and SIS! The not being able to breath part really only occurred to me when I'm doing extensive work, like putting cases of water in my basket, pushing a heavy basket, walking up a hill, or trying to work out LOL i be ready to RIP THIS THING OFF ugh!
Maybe you should do a get to know me tag, a Q & A, a story time, a review/reaction of another video, talk about how u stay sane in quarantine, talk about why you don't wear gloves with niqab or why somebody should, talk about your life before you became a niqabi, give us some of your unpopular opinions, do a confession, talk about something controversial, share a poem or art, share a hack or tutorial (especially since u wear glasses with ur niqab, plenty of women probably need help in that area).
Hope this helps cause it helped me haha I'm gonna steal some of these ideas
lolol breathing was a struggle. I wasn't sure how I was going to survive to honest. And yes the more physical activities I did the harder it got to breath but, that's why I decided to buy more breathable niqabs and ever since then I didn't have an issue.
Also, sis thank you so much for your wonderful ideas. I will definitely try to do most of these ideas and I can't wait to see you do them too.
I am 20 and I love wearing niqab but the fact is my parents won't allow me to wear it!!
Same thing with me♥️
@@elanadeland1998 I pray that Allah will change both sets of parents. However, you are of age and have a right to decide how you wish to dress and live for Allah.
You are old enough to make that decision and what you do for Allah no one can stop you.
Trust me my family was the same you just have to start somewhere even if the mock or shame your niqab one day they come to realize this is who you are and they can’t change and effect you ,I would say it’s a part of jihad /fighting for the sake of Allah
Maybe they are trying to protect you. As you know the Niqab give a bad image to Islam and people always assume that the wearing of Niqab is considered oppressive towards Women's right. So probably your parents don't want you to wear the Niqab as they don't want strangers to feel that as though you are being oppressed. I mean it's not your parents fault for stopping you. They probably does not want you to get criticize for wearing Niqab. It's just the world who are lack of education about the beauty of Islam. Stay positive okay. I pray that all the countries of Muslim Minority will stop judging Islam as a religion that oppresses Women's rights.
I’m going to in’sha’aallah start niqab next week I’m so excited!! this helped me very much
I’m glade it help you. Alhamdulilah
I am not Muslim, but I am a Christian/Catholic. Recently I've had a calling towards wearing a hijab/niqab. I like the idea that it will bring out my personality more, and I want people to love me for who I am, and not my looks. I also believe to dress like Lady Mary, modestly and respectively.
I respect the reason you wear it for Allah, and modesty! It's something to look up to :)
God bless you! I'm a Christian/Catholic and wear the niqab. I felt called to wear it for awhile, but was hesitant until I read the book of Susanna in the Bible, and learned that she wore one and that her entire book in the Bible was all about her modesty and face veiling. I hope God gives you the grace and courage to veil too :)
@@user-yc8xw8bd5r Hello, it is hard to find catholic women who wear the face veil, can I ask you about it ?
No. 4 masha Allah, that is what hold me from wearing niqab. I'm worried if people will start asking me random questions abt islam that i don't even know abt those yet. When the time comes, insha Allah i will wear niqab too! 😻
Im 15 and i really want to wear the niqab!! But I'm always told im too young :')
Same!! I want to wear the hijab and niqab so badly but I'm not Muslim and I'm 15. It would make me feel so much more comfortable and happy with myself
Assalamu Alaikum
I have been wanting to wear a niqab, but I'm only 12. I told my mom but she said that I'm too young and I should do it later. The thing is, I feel really motivated to do it, and just thinking about wearing a niqab gives me the feeling of izza and the drive to improve myself as a human, and make me a better Muslim. Before, I had a generally Ok amount of knowledge about Islam. I knew what was right and wrong and what to do in situations. But I never had true confidence and didn't really love my deen. I heard one islamic lecture at my quran school and it changed my perspective entirely. I got really inspired to wear the niqab. Do you have any advice for me? Am I too young to consider wearing it? I want to do it to strengthen me as a Muslim, and strengthen my connection to Allah SWT. I would really love your input.
JAK :)
Wa alaikum Salam. Mashallah it’s very good that you want to improve yourself as a Muslim and that you find the niqab interesting and may Allah continue to guide you always. Good for you!
As of now listen to you mother and inshallah maybe in the future you will be old enough to wear it. Right now your mother knows best. She is well aware of the environment that you live in at the moment.

Sister I have had gone through the same situation! I was 16 when I told my mother that I want to be a Niqabi . But she said the same thing! But U told her that I really wanna do it and after a month she agreed and since then I've been wearing it & I love it! If you feel you can then go for it! You'll love it. It gives you confidence! Men around you give extra respect to you! Nobody even dares to ask you to do a Haram thing! & Soo muchhh more! May ALLAH Subhanuata'Allah bless you & make it easy for you!🤍
Assalamualaikum.. I have started wearing niqab. The thing I am noticing around me that people make fun of me.earlier I was very modern in terms of clothing. The sudden change seems indigestible to others and the comments make me uncomfortable 😔

Wa eeyak! I’m so glade you found the video helpful.
@@Niqabisista Again thank you ukhti, i used to wear it on and off now i just go out without one. i really wanna go back to my journey, i miss it so much 🤍 alhamdulillah i found modesty at a young age and inshAllah by the end of the year ill be wearing it full time, got a lot of encouragement from other muslimahs alhamdulillah. im 13 and no one in my family really takes me seriously with modesty, especially when im struggling and need some advice and encouragement. alhamdulillah though! may Allah bless and reward you 🤍
Thank u sister for this video, it was actually so helpful hearing what to expect if deciding to put on the niqab.. some of these answers I guess you really can’t know until you actually do it and sometimes it’s hard to just go and ask a sister you don’t know, who does wear it and feel like you’re not bothering them. You mentioned being stared at and it not always being a negative thing, well I agree because if ever I see a niqabi sister I always just admire, you know, like I’ll give my Salams and smile out of respect, you never know what Allah has tested them with that day, these days people are not so understanding of things that they just don’t understand or have any concept of, the strength in women who have made that decision is just admirable, the decision alone I would say is a difficult one and it’s not just temporary either.. personally I am struggling with the decision myself, it’s something I would really love to do but there is so much holding me back, I’d love to say I’m stronger than that, but making that actual decision and being scared of the unknown, wearing hijab can be hard.. so I can’t imagine what wearing niqab would be like. I’m rambling I know but please if any sisters can make dua that Allah guides me in the right direction, I’m scared what I might have to give up, what I’d have to deal with when it comes to other people. I know Allah is the only one I need to worry about but we all know that’s easier said than done, the funny thing is I’m actually less worried about my own non Muslim family than I am about my Muslim family and friends Subhanallah.
If there are any videos that can give me more information on rulings of why niqab is either Sunnah or fardh, videos explaining further what to expect, how to deal with people that make you feel like you are doing something so wrong. Videos on what it’s like when people don’t recognise you easily. Anyway enough said from me. Again sister جزاك الله خير May Allah ﷻ keep you steadfast and grant you the highest levels of Jannah if not the highest sister.
alhamdulillah dear sister
U r great.... N u have motivated me to wear niqab... Jazak Allah.. Love from Pakistan
Jazaakillahu khayran, yes I agree the privacy is one of my favourite parts Alhamdulillah! May Allah make it easy for all those who wear niqab and those who want to wear it ameen ya rabb
I’m going to be wearing niqab for the first time in my life for eid this year! I’ve felt called to wear it for a long time, the only thing that’s holding me back is I’m afraid of being judged. I’m trying to care less about what other people think of me and to live my life for God only, but it’s hard sometimes. I recommend the book “Demystifying the Niqab” to anyone who is interested in this topic!
May Allah Subhanahau Wa Ta’Ala make it easy for you and all us sisters, Ameen.
Sister I really like your “not changing” logic. Jazak Allah Khair.

Thank you for this video I’m learning ! I love your insight
Very good that you made this video. You are so clear in explaining the (many) advantages, and I hope more women will start wearing it in the West. On point #4: people stare as it is new. If the niqab will be more regular, they will do it less.
I hope more men wear it
@@Smithpolly that's only for women.

I would wear it for sun protection and also loved that for privacy and modesty
Alhamdulillah. I am grateful to have seen this video. I have been wondering and thinking about niqab....the reasons why a muslim woman decides to wear it....and her journey to niqab...How to wear it.
i

I kept slipping away to not being the best I could before and I feel much closer to religion and more confidence to be myself and not needing to prove myself to anyone.

I’m going to wear one by Tuesday.
I’d like to know why some Muslim women are okay with shaking hands with men & some aren’t. I’m a non Muslim and I often found that confusing when I was at university
In Islam we are not suppose to shake hands with the opposite gender but, you might find some Muslims doing just that for varies reasons:
1. They are unaware about this ruling
2. Are non practicing
3. Feel embarrassed to let the person down
4. Or don’t want to feel outcast.
The reason could be many.
But, we should remain firm no matter what.
I actually struggled with this back in university and have done a recent video about my experiences on my channel.
@@Niqabisista thanks, I was even told by one Iraqi girl she’s not allowed to talk men in general or befriend men or non Muslims in general. But I know some Muslim countries aren’t as strict as others about certain things.
I’m going into uni at London a couple months later, and i’m really committed to the fact of non shaking hand with men, but I don’t know how will they face it. I really don’t mean being rude/mean to anyone.
I’m also planning not to have “friendships” with them and set boundaries. And hope it goes well.
And answering your inquiry, they reason why not all muslim do it, because they’re humans.. and humans sin. The laws of Allah is as it is and has been since 1400 years ago, it’s the people who change. And so many muslims todays are not practicing, many factors enchance this and one of the most important ones, is who the western culture has transmitted itself to the islamic minds, and now muslims have less stronger bonds with their islamic legalization system.
Walykum asalaam sister thanks for sharing.
As soon as I converted to Islam I wanted to wear niqab. I felt safe in it and for many reason like you mentioned, for Allah, privacy, modesty, actions, etc… but I didn’t do it because I live in USA. I have been wearing hijab but with this pandemic I feel Allah gave me confidence, and a sign to let me grow into what I was meant to do. and not be afraid of my own criticism or others.
My one question is where to buy, what to look for, as in materials ?
Thank you! Jazak Allah Kheirun
Thank you for this video!!!

InshaAllah I plan on going to the market tomorrow to buy niqabs and abayas. I've been really hesitant about this decision but I know the time has come for me. I'm really nervous about my family's reaction, although they are muslims, but I'm not too sure how this will change our lives. Whatever it takes though, I'm not going back InshaAllah. As Salaam Walaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh sister im just asking I'm a new Muslim 6 months now and I'm loving Islam Alhumdulillah this is the best choice that I ever made in my life Subhana Allah
But my question is this I want to wear my niqab i bought 3 already but I'm questioning do I have to be a bit more longer into islam then wear it or no because I really want to wear when I tried it on I felt so great and happy Subhana Allah I'm 21 yrs old and really happy that I found Islam and I admire that in Islam that you asked a woman should cover up and I highly agree it that because their are really some men out there that look at you in a way to make you feel uncomfortable because that used to happen to me a lot and now that I'm a Muslim and I cover properly I feel more comfortable and happy and that i dont have to try to fit into society and try and be something that society is telling me to be or how to look or act as a young lady Islam is perfect

In a pandemic, it gets old wearing the same old surgical mask. Why not dress it up by wearing a lovely niqab? There are some beautiful styles. One day, someone in the store was acting up, a mask with niqab as an outer layer kept me from getting the crazy man's attention!
A long flowing niqab really dresses up a plain old face mask. For black niqab, I go for the black disposible face mask.
What is your opinion about wearing gloves with the niqab?
There are several opinions regarding wearing gloves, I follow the opinion that one can reveal hands. I will actually do a video inshallah in the near future discussing this topic. I was asked this question previously as well.
I love yi glasses.
I'm planning to buy a niqab and when I go out, find a place where I can put it on and wear it during the day. I just need to make sure my parents and neighbors don't know :(
Hi, I've been wearing niqab since January 2020 and love it. I was and still am in the same place you are ( according to what you wrote ). For me, no one in my family is muslim and I was already getting glances just for switching to maxi length dresses and skirts exclusively ( outdoors ) even though I kept my hair out at that time.
This only works/makes sense in the spring and summer ( I live in the U.S. in a part where there are all four seasons ) but to keep a sense of discretion when I need to walk somewhere, I use an umbrella as soon as I step out the door to actually shield myself from the sun 🌄 but to also cover my niqab should someone in the home be watching me leave. Going shopping right when the store opens or late at night helps too ( though I still shop in between and when I feel to )
In any case, I hope it goes well for you!
I am not Muslim or religious only spiritual and want to wear niqab to create a sense of privacy in public (and help my anxiety) would that be ok?
Absolutely that is fine. The niqab is not only restricted to Muslim women.
Can anyone answer my question ...I want to know is it necessary to cover our eyebrows also to wear niqab?...pls answer my qstn..
Asalamu alaikum. There are two opinions one that says it’s a must to wear niqab and others that says it’s highly recommended and will be rewarded for wearing niqab but it is not a must.
Now depending on what opinion you decide to follow (I recommend you do some research on your own and see what different scholars say about it) then, you have your answer.
I think your question is not just a simple yes or no answer.

I was just wearing the "modern hijab" for the past 8 or so years, Alhamdulillah, but now I feel like I should start wearing the niqab as well. I don't know, I just really really want to. But what I don't know is, is this the right thing to do? I have shown my face to non mahrams for years, so covering my face now when I am 29 years old, is it disallowed for me or am I still allowed to do it? I really really want to.
You're allowed!!! It's never too late to start.

Assalamualaikum sister, I would like to know whether you have experienced any dangerous incidents of racism (e.g. cars swerving towards you) as a niqabi living in the west. When you go out, do you go out alone or with a mahram- do you think it is dangerous to go out alone as a niqabi due to racism? I live in the UK and have recently started to wear abaya but feel scared going out alone due to incidents of racism. Jazakallah khair.
I've been attacked by some feminist. Alhamdulillah I do know some self defense. But besides that nothing happened
As a middle aged non-Muslim women I am very interested in learning about the religion and its culture. I like to wear abayas as they can easily merge in with a non-muslim style of dress but I admit to being scared to trying even a hijab let alone a niqab in public due to any attempts of harassment. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

I am an atheist but I like the Niqab. I think it is beautiful. However, I can't wear or buy one due to the lack of Muslims communities in my city.
Atheist huh... Do you really think that humans and the universe, etc all came from nothing? And that there is no purpose to our existence? Doesn't that sound unlikely? Contemplate that 🤔 Then when you're done, think about it some more, and more... you may come to have some questions Islam can answer. I invite you to open your mind and heart and learn about Islam :)
@claudiabenevente887 I'm atheist as well and I really want to wear the niqab, luckily there's a store near where I live that sells them but my parents are christian and wouldn't even let me consider buying one :'(
What about women who are forced to wear this????
💘💘💘💘
I really want to start wearing niqab but I'm still feeling anxious over how people will react especially with racism😣
Slm maşşallah
I am not a Muslim girl but i hate myself whenever i draw attention i have my close friends who are muslim i heard why they wear them... Which is to not to get any attraction from outsiders.... Which i really need... And most importantly i need my beauty or anything which is mine is my privacy i want to drsss not to expose my body so abaya hijab and niquab made sense but i believe in allah am not muslim guide me shall i wear it or not am confused is it right or wrong
Is anyone allowed to wear a niqab if they do it correctly?
hi Denise! I come to find out that many women whether they are Muslim or non-muslim wear the niqab.
@@Niqabisista so it is Okay that Even if I’m Christian or not a member of any religion to wear a niqab?

Wearing niqab video upload sister please
Ya ukhti, you should cover your hands.
Assalamu Alaykum, can you please post a video about 10 things niqabs shouldn't do, please I wanted to become a niqabi.
I want to become Muslim… but my family are die hard Catholics. I fear rejection and being removed from my family even homelessness. I am from California. I desire to move out the US. :/
Yes I understand. It is a big step and a big change and this can seem extremely difficult. There are actually many converts who have been in your situation and perhaps their stories can help you somehow. If you UA-cam convert stories I’m sure you will come across individuals who are similar to you. I hope the best for you.
Thank you! You are so kind for responding. I hope you are doing well during these times.🦋
Would I offend anyone if I wear the niqab without being a Muslim?
That’s fine🙂
Im not muslim, and i dont have a problem with muslims women wearing it ,to me it just looks very hot,and how do you reconize friends if everyone is wearing it
I can definitely understand that. I actually uploaded a video answering your question. It is set to go live at 8:am pst.
It's so weird but sometimes I feel less hot. Also, you recognize your friends by the way they walk, the way how they wear and you just do lol. I can't explain. I always recognize everyone and they recognize me lol
Sister just advice but remember to cover your wrists and hands
salam kenal...
I'm a 6'3" female misidentified at birth as male. I wear the niqab and love it. This demonstration is perfect for all transgender female muslims.
I never met a transgender Muslim. Is it difficult? In the sense of violence or hate? Not that my case is like you, but as a carribean it was difficult at the beginning to show that I'm Muslim
If your sex is male at birth, then you can't be a woman. You need to be the gender Allah gave you
