I love how there are two moments in this amv that pretty much say "don't f*ck with this guy." The first is at the opening when he pulls his hand away from his face. The dead contractor eyes, the "I'm pissed" expression; Hei is very scary when he gets like this. The other moment is at 2:30 when we see his eye again. This time he has normal human eyes (iris/pupil) and is extra pissed off. He is absolutely terrifying in this mode. One of the best antiheroes ever.
This is what I miss about AMVs, the original edits that make it an experience worth watching. If I wanted to watch the anime, I would watch the anime. It just becomes a music video for the song if it's just a compilation of clips faded together. But this, this AMV is great, especially compared to recent lack of skilled artists. I have seen better ones than this, but it's a great tribute to the series and I enjoy watching it with great views of the characters' expressions. Fantastic job, I'd like to see more.

It pretty much creates an avenue to make money from subs/donations, so that your are able to do what you like and get paid on the side. You should consider looking into it if you are still doing this kind of thing on your spare time.

Why do you think S2 wasn't so good? I think it was equal to S1, just thoroughly different which is actually what makes it so special :) They didn't just do a sequel - those are usually low quality and boring. They made DTB but differently. I call that a genius :) And a nice AMV indeed~

This is one of the best AMV's I've ever seen. My one complaint (trivial) is the use of TV rips for Gemini of the Meteor. Other than that, the uploader. assuming he's the one who made it, knows how to edit and make the music compliment the anime, not the other way around like most people do - Favorited

DTB, a series that doom was to be an anime original. The story potential can be considered as one of the best of anime history, would this have been started with a mangaka the end result would have been along the lines of Berserk praise. Regardless they did deliver a good first season and although ALOT of people didn't like the second season mainly in a 80% because of the way the story took direction, it had a good ending and feeling to it. Long live the Black Reaper and hopefully we get someday what happened in America and some taste of what happened with Yin and Hei after season 2.
Great amv, season 2 didn't hold up like I hoped, hei was badass but the story was too confusing and sloppy. After the 4 part OVA's I was expecting to see more of what was happening with yin since she was important in the OVA's
yes they announced it atleast thats what i heard they said that amber was coming back and hei so i think a few old characters well be back its all about hei,amber and bai so those 3 will probaly be in it i don't know about the others we will see when first episode comes but creater is busy with a other anime so probaly season is gonna be in 2013 if you wondering the anime is zetsuen no tempest probaly when he is done with first season he will be making season 3 of darker than black i hope XD
