I love how positive Lincoln is about just about everything. It makes these fun to watch.
GameNight is consistently the best channel for watching a group play a game. I was watching old stuff from season 1 and just reminiscing about those days and my game group back then. You’re all blessed to still be together playing games.
What I love about this channel is that they are almost reluctant heroes who love games but have put themselves in front of the camera for the love of games rather than some sort of self promotion/acting gig. Yes I know Deborah and Dave are actors but even with them we are not really getting them overdo it
@@keithparker1346 you nailed it
This game is such a good conversation generator.
One question on scoring: the rules say to remove any that are out of place, but score all that are ascending. It looks like they removed pairs that were swapped.
"If there are multiple possibilities, choose which Arrows to remove" (from the Reveal section in the rules)
So in the second round, you can make a line of 3 chevrons. You basically remove the fewest number of chevrons possible to score points.
Fun fact: Aaron's hair grows to Lincoln's size every day, but he's such a nice guy he shaves it every day and gives it to charity.
We played it the way that only the number that isn't in ascending order was taken out of the scoring.
It's a fun game! I played it last weekend. There are many different kinds of questions and some you just have to skip depending on the player group. And it's always fun to see Deborah!
This week has been very busy and exhausting... but then I remember that today is Thursday, I see that there is another funny video of you guys, and like magic "puff!" the tiredness goes away. Thank you for these moments of gratification.
Makes Thursdays a little better honestly, I always look forward to them more for these videos 😊
This was so fun to watch, more of theseeee. You guys especially shıne on the way I love on more intimate and lighthearted fun games.
Deborah looks so cozy in this video.
Great playthrough. Nice change of pace and definitely a fun ice-breaker style game. Great way of getting to know you all!
Oh how I wish you had Aaron around for this... but I will take my best 4 of 5 any day!
Was anyone else super excited when the ‘hair style’ question came up? I was very curious. I had a ball getting to know you all a little better.
3rd round the 25 should be removed but the 30 still scores
At 15:03, the 30 should have scored?
Very nice game to get to know people. It was interesting that we got to know the Game Night gang a little better
13:20 Dave is incorrect about that rule, the example is the opposite of what he says (see page 3)
Yup. I was wrong.
Another joyous play of a fun game! Thanks for the smiles!
This is just such a fun show. Never fails to lift my spirits and make me want to game more.
Im confident the team is playing the game incorrect. You're allowed to remove any number of arrows to give you the most points. So in round two they could have removed the 35 to score 3 points.
Looks like a lot of fun!
Thanks all. Hoping for that next station London play through and then the all important pointing for SDJ winner nominations… keep up the great work.
A lot of the time the age range has to do with certifications from safety regulators for components. It costs a lot more to get something certified for a 6 year old vs an 8 year old.
Great stuff, as always!
Good game. The discussions after each question are clearly vital and add massively to the fun. It did remind me of Just One, but it's different enough to stand separate. Enjoyed watching you play. I love that you're building up a library of played games videos (it's just a shame you can't play every game ever released!). I usually don't buy a game now until I've seen it played, and Game Night is always my first port of call for that. :-)
This was so fun to watch!
This is a great party game, keen to get this one.
That was fun!
I'm from Minnesota. The correct answer to the snow question is two. That's it. No variation. Just two. :D
I bought it after seeing gameplay on "No Rolls Barred". It just looks like a fun conversation starter.
This, "So clover" and "Just one". Man, Repos Production is on fire!
I really love when you four are the playgroup. It makes me wish I could join you guys. Are you, Dave and Nikki siblings?
Fun!
"I thought you were gonna be zero, honestly" :P
To get any product rated for under 8 there are a lot of hoops and paperwork that a company needs to go through with the Consumer Products Safety Bureau to prove that it is safe for younger kids. I have heard that is why so many board games are listed 8+
I want to see Game Night in space! 😊
Some of the very personal questions has spooked some people in my gaming group, so now we might never play it again. 😳
@Deborah You can't see Earth rise from the Moon because Moon's rotation time is the same as it's revolution so the same side always faces Earth. But 3 days seems the right amount of time to sped there. :)
The moon round should have scored 3 points as well - 3 days, 72 hours, and 30 days. The 2 months is the odd one out.
Also it takes 3 days to get to the moon.
With that moon question it could have been interpreted as how long would you like to travel to the moon rather than stay on the moon?
We got the question "How many relationships that lasted longer than one year have you had?", which some at the table didn't feel comfortable answering, so we skipped it.
My group also had that question, we answered it, but it made us all a bit uncomfortable.
The point about uncomfortable questions was raised by The Dice Tower. I'm surprised they didn't really cover it here, though as they quickly said you can just quickly choose another question
Lincoln, Rise of the Resistance is soooo good. Make sure you Lightning pass it though; standby is several hours long at times.
Shouldn’t “how long in your home” have scored 3 points?
I thought so too.
Agreed
I think they messed up recording the scoring on the star anyway - anyway an interesting video specially the internal age question - really thought Dave would class himself as youngest
Agree
Can I come to GameNight on the moon? 🌚
A quick production question: are there enough outtakes from the (currently) 11 series of Game Night to produce a compilation video of them..?
"oh boy"
But Fun Facts is all about people's perceptions of themselves, not facts. BTW, the run is supposed to be the greatest possible run, from my understanding based on another group playing this. So the Disney movies should have been 3, I think.
Deborah would make a perfect Mickey Mouse voice actor!
19:05 Oh why I change attire everyday, so...
so many tires changed...I biked a lot when I was a kid, I figure I had to have changed 3-4 tires in my pre-teen years...and I owned a lot of old cars, drove a lot of bad roads, and had a driving Sunday newspaper delivery job for around 10 years clocking a TON of miles on gravel roads, then a dozen years commuting 30 miles to work every day and lastly driving school bus for a little under 10 years...the over/under for me on HAVING a flat is about 20...BUT, how many times did I actually change the tire and not rely on a parent to service station guy...probably about 10...so my number would be roughly 13-15-ish times...i HATE changing tires.
At least 75 - I have changed a lot of bike tires, rotated my tires often, and I worked in a gas station in college.
Why not let the Star(ting) player also read the question? That's how we did it.
Nikki, I love your hairstyle!
How are Nikki and Lincoln related?
Nikki and I are married. We have been for over 18 years! Thanks for the note and for watching.-Lincoln
Oh, this is pretty interesting.. a game where you play with your own personal information, while making (only) assumptions on others. Quite friendly and smart.
EDIT: A Spiel des Jahres nomination!? Mmm, maybe for production value
So wait…. Dave would go less if it was free? Lol.
