I think this is the first time I've seen Gents Scents talked about Amouage Reflection Man. Easily one of the greatest fragrance of all time in my opinion
I was disappointed by Perceval at least on my skin. When i first sprayed it, amazing, when it dried down ALL I smelled was Abercrombie and Fitch. I’ll have to try Sedley.
Finally the Niche get some love, the usual designer suspects were getting monotonous. Great video as always Ash. Please also talk more about Galleria 👌🏾
I don't get Elysium hype. Really bad performance for the price. Reflection Man otherwise is amazing! I could put Xerjoff Mefisto Gentiluomo as a really versatile fresh gentleman scent too.

I got some Nishane coming Fan The Flames and Unuttumun, and also some Armouage, Blue Iris and Reflection and finally Black Phantom by Killian. Blue Iris and The Nishane are all blind buys for me and I gotta say I'm pretty excited. I hope the Nishane comes across the way I want, I was checking out the note breakdown so it's not completely a blind buy.
I know some will obviously say (and really they probably correct 🤷♂️🤷♂️) “niche money for a designer type scent?? Why?? When I spend niche money I want a niche fragrance uniqueness!” And that’s a fair comment for sure (depending on what you’re using the fragrance for) but if you’ve got the money upgrading from Dylan Blue/Sauvage/BDC/whatever you’re using if you are using a blue fragrance type as a daily driver or a dumb reach - if you have the money upgrading to a niche likeable daily driver would be worth it. The difference in quality it is undeniable.

I WANT Ganymede. Will splurge one day. Had a sample. It was beautiful and leathery on my skin. I didn’t get the fruit that some talk about. Thanks for sharing about the performance. Foster Lee
Roja Vetiver is an amazing compliment puller. It’s also an all weather scent, I’m able to use it in any condition, and it still gets me positive attention
It’s the Cologne version. I’ve tried the Parfum version. They have great lasting power but the scent profile takes a different route on the dry down. The Parfum version takes a slightly darker tone while the cologne stays a vibrant Vetiver all the way to the end. I wouldn’t pay the up price for the Parfum version, you’re better off with the cologne in my opinion. 👍
@@Q_N- there’s a rule of thumb going around saying that u spray the cologne on throughout the daylite- & then layer it with a little bit of the parfum as the evening approaches, for nite time wear
You can do that if you want, but I’d suggest saving your money and buying an actual evening/night frag that will do a far better job. I really can’t justify 500$+ for a bottle of the Roja Parfum concentrate. Unless you have plenty of money to blow 🤷♂️

Recently bought a 10 ml of Elysium love the scent very much but it doesn't last but 2hours for me does the clear bottle of Roja Elysium Parfum last longer and project longer?
Did anyone else order the enigma fragrance?? Does their bottle say enigma?? Mine says Jet black Platinum… did they send me the wrong one?? Edit: The one I have has a black cap not a gold one.
Love Rojas but Elysium comes across as too much of a non event for me. Would prefer Omonde Jayne Monebaco Intensivo for a fresh scent. Great call on the Reflection Man and Sedley.
That’s normal, I’ve got a bottle of Elysium, and the same happens to me. If you want to stop yourself from going noseblind, just spray another cologne on your wrist and you should be fine. You’ll get whiffs of both scents here and there.
I loved Amouage Reflection Man, but I had a heart attack while wearing it, and now I just can't wear it any more. I ended up giving it to my son. BTW, I don't get the Jean Paul Gaultier comparison in the least. To me it is more like an intense version of Prada L'homme. The white florals are really prominent.

Video idea: What are some cheap fragrances that need a higher quality version (i.e. A niche or expensive designer version). I'm sure there's got to be some cheap fragrances with an interesting note breakdown, but just suffer from lacking the quality ingredients.
It's not terribly bad, and it has a pleasant honey type scent. It just doesn't give me the projection and longevity that I was looking for. It's definitely an up close and personal type of scent. OR perhaps I'm just nose blind to it so I'll give it a fair shake and take it on a full test run in the near future.

My fav designer-ish niche fragrance is Amouage Enclave. Opening smells like a spearmint candy and then dies down to a coca cola vibe

Champs de province is great. Egypt is another great one from eight & Bob.
I've never tried anything niche but I'm interested in almost anything by Rojas or amouage
You could get by with Elysium, Enigma and Danger as your only 3 perfumes and you'd be more than fine
