Thats a pretty strange house she's living in!
its not her house shes talking in front of a greenscreen
It is magical, actually.
Es croma
Would be good if i could hear anything she was saying. Audio too low for mobile or laptop. If you're going to put in this much effort - check audio for normal people not on studio monitors!
Why does the background change partway through?
The filmmaker was playing with realities. The second greenscreen shows Haraway living in a typical suburban environment (which she does not) but you get the opportunity to imagine possibilities in the way that Haraway plays with "wild facts" and fabulation.
wonder if it's the fashion or zeitgeist to present lectures without audio, no sound....
did you not turn your volume up? the volume just pretty low in this video...
No se escucha! Y la traduccion mala
um. om.
too bad that at the current rate anti-aging tech won't be matured in time to Haraway. without her how are we ever going to end the patriarchy?
I may like some points she is making but she look like sometimes trying to sell you a magic stone to put over the picture of Jesus to heal from cancer
Not really because the structure of SF methodology was basically used by Indigenous peoples for tens of thousands of years before colonial models of education became a thing. In a way she is re-appropriating this methodology to teach within colonial institutions for people who subscribe to the hierarchical, colonial model of life in order for other researchers/designers to incorporate science with storytelling.
