Stick with 4:3 linear. I say this because there’s a setting in ALS that you can find that would be an even better better version of 4:3 linear. You can even increase your FOV a little so the aim assist still works, but once you’re used to the feel you can find it

Turn off your survival slot in settings (evac tower, heat shield, etc; slot), and then you just spam whatever button that is for you. Only downside is you have to pause the game and use your survival items from inventory when you need them, but it's easy to get used to tbh.
