Stayed here while on an excursion, from a cruise ship. The accommodations were superb and the view of the pyramids is simply fabulous. The trip to the pyramids was by tour bus and the camel riding experience was unmatched. The night time light show was spectacular. A once in a lifetime trip that I remember fondly. Tip the locals and the staff, they deserve appreciation and respect.
We were reminiscing, showing our son our trip to Cairo and this Hotel we stayed at approximately one year ago. Funny enough we found our selves on your video. We are due to go back to Egypt within the week again and to the same Hotel by chance. Thanks for the memories and a very good video.

I mean if you come to Cairo for the pyramids is so beautiful to wake up each morning with such a unique view from the balcony and a cup of coffee in the hand. For groceries there are some and there is a restaurants in the area but clothing and other stuff no , since this hotel is not in the center of Cairo. There is the Mall of Egypt (and other malls) but you have to take a taxi to get to it. Uber is broadly used. Ask at the reception. One thing to know : if u ask people in the street they will gladly help you but most of the time they will ask for a tip. Sounds weird but that's how it is , so don't be surprised if that happens.

The only non-smoking room I could find - so I booked it.
