I think the pace is more so a physical aspect which he can only work on so much to a certain degree, that’s just biology - the finishing tho you’re right, but a lot of times it’s partially talent partially technique
He has decent pace. Maybe he needs to be be stronger at fending off defenders while dribbling.

Yeah as an arsenal fan I'm not the biggest fan of that transfer (when the rumours emerged). But as soon as arteta said he has a plan and he wants it, well gotta trust him and kai whatever happens. Thats what we can do as a fan, and arteta proved us again why he's the right man for the right position

He played against Liverpool in the Fa cup and was the only one running with ball at all. He was the only one brave on the ball actually in midfield. Liverpool fan here obviously

Yes Kai is one of the fittest players in the league. He is getting round the pitch, making tackles interceptions and then his hold up play is excellent even with a decent return on goals. It could be a master stroke by Arteta and Edu for identifying what they needed!
Reminds me of Firmino for Liverpool. He was massively underrated by most fans of other clubs who don't understand football tactically. Hes been playing in an almost identical way to how firmino did and it's getting the results. It works so well if you have the wingers and midfielders who can get the goals and the forward to chip in with 10/15 himself

Giroud was a pretty dreadful finisher for part of his time at Arsenal. Anyone remember his 12 match goalless streak which ultimately cost them in the 2015/2016 title race against Leicester

Those stats are somewhat misleading. He only starts at 9 when Partey or Jorginho starts in the holding midfield allowing Rice to move up. The whole thing is balanced better with Partey in the Holding, Rice in the Box2box and Havertz up front. That being said it is wonderful!
Agreed, he also plays in midfield when Arsenal are resting better players and so they're not as dominant in a game given they field worse players and so his defensive stats are inflated. Can just take numbers at face value

Partey only started for last 3 games as a midfielder. Funny enough, Arsenal gave most ex-g in those three games. Arteta is willing to give up defensive security for being better in attack. Partey helps in attack more than defence.

Havertz as a striker can work for sure but if Arsenal want the title they need someone like Isak then have Havertz as plan B and sell gabriel jesus (idc what anyone says his dribbling is good but 4 PL goals by May is stupid)
Havertz is a bit like Sancho. When Chelsea started struggling, he was a bit underwhelming although he scored few goals and assisted. I think going to a good team like Arsenal made him feel more comfortable. He needed a healthy environment.

Kai Havertz was mocked and rightfully so, Arteta brought him in to play the role Xhaka was playing and it did not work! When he was moved into his natural position he shines, he did this at Chelsea but no one was able to link up with him; especially with his runs and his height. He needs to be more aggressive then he will be a phenomenal signing. Right now I like what I see, but there is more!

As an Arsenal fan I can tell you that Havertz is the best we got defensively but he’s not the reason our defence is as good 😂
Havertz is improving himself and the team in the false 9 role. However, with City around, not sure if Havertz is enough to win us major honors. Arteta has done some good work, but he also needs to be less stubborn and not overthink. Everyone could see that Havertz is better as center forward than as midfielder. Also, everyone can see Partey is one level above Jorginho. Once Partey was fit, he should have played at Bayern and Villa, but he didn’t. Bottom line, a lot needs to improve for us to win.

Pep playing Stones in midfield hasn't cost them the league.
Not beating Fulham and Tottenham at home at the start of the season looks even more costly now but the rest of the games where Arsenal dropped points are understandable.
