I love how Rewrite's section of the theme isn't inherently... CREEPY per se. Just trippy, with samples from Stardust Speedway, CD's special stages and bosses, and even a bit of Frontiers' Rumble Rave and Rush's Back-2-back. Dissonant yet soft vocals, and mixed with the front-facing camera (and satanic poses), shaking camera, and fast-paced background, it's genuinely disorienting.
And it's pretty fitting considering that the background of Rewrite's section is actually Stardust Speedway's sky in its bad future version. Same goes for Majin in the beggining, since he appeared in Sonic CD, he also got Stardust Speedway samples. God I love this mod.
