Hey mate nice thready. Do you remember me? Myself & the wife camped with you here at this spot in a little caravan. We are local to Onslow. By the way you gotta watch those catfish lol.
Never seen anyone use a reel like winch, pump and wined. Make the rod do the work. Beadon Creek one of the best fishing spots on the part of the coast. I spent years fishing that area and in Onslow . Huge trevally on the end of goyne. Thanks and keep on fishing
great fish the one fish that has eluded me they taste great too i really liked the mandorah jetty one too i spent my teens fishing that jetty nearly every weekend@@zaneyoung3249
Why not live-bait your catch? You took it fresh from your cast net. And you know (your shark bay whiting = pink snapper) how much more effective a livie is.
Mulloway was your first fish. Would recommend servicing all your reels when you get to a tackleshop. They sound awful! Caution is required handling all species. I've had a fish spine dug out of my hand. Not enjoyable, and the bacteria some fish carry can be extremely dangerous. Tight lines and enjoy the travels..👍
I appreciate what you saying on both counts Colin, i have just given the reels a service myself as i never seem to be on towns long enough for servicing. Loving Australia and the fishing here.
