I really like these videos. I would like to offer a suggestion or two. First, you should highlight the ball so the viewer at home can follow the shot in the air. Second you should show a graphic of the hole so the viewer can see where the ball is on the course in relation to the hole. Other than that keep up the good work.
Ive never golfed but im slowly falling in love with the game. I play tennis and there are a lot of parallels...shot selection, big and flashy shots vs smart and consistent shots, percentage vs power. this is like watching a 4.o or 4.5 tennis player playing with a 5.0+/open/college player. fun and interesting...thanks dudes!
In golf we call the amateur's you are referring to: "pro-am's". An amateur (word by itself) can be anyone from a 25-12 handicap; at least, that's how it works in my neck of the woods. Whereas a pro-am is below a 12 but above a 5.
@@xMrJanuaryx I may be wrong but I would consider a Pro-Am to be someone that is playing in tournaments to qualify themselves to play in a pro tournament. A beginner cant hit a ball and an amateur can hit a ball no matter what they're handicap is. In my neck of the woods if you have less than a 4 handicap you're called a country club rat😂
I like that Mark goes over the rules regularly, throughout the videos. I think it's incredibly important in the world of UA-cam and Twitch, to inform people on the correct way to do things in an official context. It's fine to bend the rules, as long as you KNOW what the rules are and all parties agree, otherwise it's like little kids making the rules up as they go along.
Mitch Hotz I just left a similar comment it’s crazy. In the title it said amateur golfer that’s a stretch for dam sure. First time I ever played 9 holes I shot a 55 on a par 34 I know 55 is horrible but this guy is really bad. Don’t understand how someone can run a gold channel and not even be somewhat decent at the game.
He never processed to be great. He just wants to get more people interested in golf and get enjoyment from playing. There are plenty of people that go out and have a great time and play no where near par golf. Also amateur is a fair term to use because he doesn’t get paid to play as a golf. You can have just started (a beginner), or have been playing for years and be fairly good, and as long as you don’t get paid you are still an amateur. I enjoy his content because it brings golf to a wide audience. To me he also shows you don’t have to be perfect to have fun playing.
Good vid .. only thing is first hole when you took a drop is you get two club lengths .. not one as he said . easy way to remember us if you’re paying for it you get 2 ... if it’s free ( like off a path) you get one . 👍🏼
Tempo is the key brother, try to keep that swing on the same plane whilst controlling that backswing a little... guarantee 15 balls in at the range you’ll have some consistency, respect the grind
Get him on the ya-ya pans (check out gm-golf, matt and Steven) I like the new channel, i watch all hi-5's stuff, glad your branching out to a new channel and its golf which I love!! so couldn't have been any better mate cheers and GOOD LUCK
I think you should try keeping your forward foot down instead of allowing it to heel up. I've seen many golfers do that, which puts some uncertainty in your contact.
Just found you and watched this one I subbed just because I play golf left handed too power to the lefties 😂😂 make him swing left handed that'll give you an advantage.
Actually the new rule is you can drop as low as your knee... Doesn't mean you have to. And as far as thr ball rolling after your drop it, you can redrop up to three times within 2 club lengths, and if the ball goes beyond the 2 clubs (whether it no closer to the holes or not) after your third attempt, you place the ball where the third ball made first contact after the drop.
I think kids set would be the most fun. I'm a self declared semi-pro and I think that would be fun to watch :P. Or play against me, I'll use the kids set haha
Hey guys im new to golf and Brian I love you and your chanel I was jw what that watch is? Is that a normal thing? A watch with yardage ok it? That's awesome
At least this guy doesn't edit every shot to make himself look good. I've seen other UA-cam golfers with just as bad looking of a swing somehow always shoot par.
Never watched this channel but once he said this is exterior golf I instantly knew it was bryan from team edge. If you could please say hi to Matthias for me
@@ExperiorGolf The only problem is I live in Maine it's a little far away but it would be cool for you to be able to play golf with subscriber's a cool concept

It’s Bryan from team edge
@Facts Only yet if you had a golf channel it probably wouldn't be near as entertaining, regardless of skill.
@@bustedrav who are u talking to

You guys should do a video where you get to pick each other's club for each shot. You can only pick one club once though, so choose wisely.
“double bogey”, even though he triples
that other guy is really nice and pretty good 👍🏼
I'm barely a minute into the video and it's already entertaining!!
This is not amateur..this is beginner 😆😆😆
Kiddy slop if they were skiing

Me on every swing.
Ive never had so much anxiety as watching that driver cover sitting on the bag whilst you were driving

Your a great example of how anyone can make a UA-cam channel. U have a gold channel and your not even a golfer that’s great stuff.

This is really interesting. I hope Bryan wins.
This guy runs a golf channel but doesn’t know how to take a proper drop?
To be fair to him he's a beginner, and they changed the drop rules last year

I'd say it's more concerning that the pga pro didn't how the proper drop. It's 2 club lengths relief, not one

Vacuumlungs27 it’s not team edge FYI
Vacuumlungs27 you spelled Bryan’s name wrong
Give him a hockey stick to use, I would enjoy seeing something like that 😂
Wow... he literally has no idea how to play golf "I'll just drop it over by you"
I love seeing a lefty on a channel!
Picking the 7 iron for tin cup! Heck yeah
Its funny due to the fact that bryans set of clubs is worth thousands of dollars lmao

How are u figuring out how far u are from the hole ? What are u using ?
Golf reverse. Tee off with a putter then put a driver on the green..etc
How far did the 2nd hole 54° tee shot go? It sounded like the 2nd shot went about 165 yards!

which app is using to get the distance to the hole on his watch?
You know your a bad golfer when you grab the club with 2 hands and sit and watch the ball after every hit 😂

Yoooooo it's Bryan! I never knew you played golf, i aspire to become professional!

What app is Mark using to see distance
How are you tracking the distance on the watch?
Give him the left hand set

Half a million views but still only 77k Subs, (I’m subscribed)

If you could please say hi to Matthias for me
Never pick putter if you are minimizing distance because the face has very little loft which means it will go further then a wedge that is lofted more
He said “GET OUT OF HERE” the amateur may be a righty instead of a lefty
Bryan, "He know this course like the back of his foot." (:
What clubs does the pro have?
Golf clubs
Callaway apex pro irons Epic Flash woods
Nobody's ever gonna remember who won the tournament but everyone will remember your 12 (Tin cup)
love the vid
What’s his calf workout tho?
Probably genetics, mine are his size and I never go to the gym
Nice course played there once
Go big red! Nebraska.
Wow I guess marks has never had a day where he just gave up and played driver only. Happens to me all the time😂🤷♂️
Make him use a ladies Walmart special set.
I think I will use my driver for this one LOL
I work for a country club as grounds crew and I can vouch for that 10% not filling divots is true, absolutely no one fills their divots 😂
