diy metal forming with simple tools

things broke, design failed, but here is a video on how I salvaged the Day with hammer forming 16 gauge sheet metal with a plasma cutter, bench vise, hammer, Cresent wrench, vice clamps, and and a piece of angle iron for a dolly. check out these other great channels

Hey! Thanks for mentioning my channel in the description. I learned a tip decades ago that should help you out in the future. When bending a pan like yours to achieve an overall outside dimension, subtract 75% of the material thickness for each bend. This accounts for the material stretch at each bend so the panel size doesn’t grow on you.

Just a tip mate if your bench top is metal you could put it on its side and clap to the bench top and hammer it flat that way as well.
