- Join me today on this Bangkok Sathorn apartment tour. We decided to stay in a different part of the city this time around. We are in Silom, near the Chao Praya River. We have excellent views of IconSiam mall and many other beautiful buildings in the city.

It is beautiful, we might rent it again later in the year. Although we booked it so long ago, that the price has gone up a little if we rent it again.

Super nice! And for that price! We're in Bangkok now, too, just across the river from you in a high-rise that is about 20 years older -- and we're paying quite a bit more than you are. Still, the cost of living is pretty great in Bangkok.
Often times you get a better deal if you’re staying a month or longer.
We are here for a month. You just selected well and scored a great one! We like our location and pool pretty well, though.

Do they have balconies in each apartment? Is this a condo or regular apt?
What do you guys recommend for folks who are petrified of heights? I know that these places you are showing are amazing but I will never be able to get up the elevator and actually go up to the 30th floor!!!
Gorgeous!! So modern and spare, love it. Do you know whether this building has 2-bedroom flats as well? Since it’s Airbnb and I believe they don’t show exact locations until you’ve booked, how do you go about finding rentals based on a specific building? We’re selling house this spring and will be new to Airbnb, so apologies if this is a duh question. Lol Looks like you’re getting around after your surgery, and hope you’re feeling great again! We aren't sure if they have 2BR. Many of the listings will state the name of the building, but if not you can always tell by the pictures of the pool.

Is it as loud as it sounds with the wind and traffic?
I don’t think it’s loud but that depends on what you’re used to. We are city people. When we are outside it seems a bit more windy though.

I mentioned in the video that we paid $1100 for one month. That includes, Wi-Fi, water, electric and use of the building amenities.
Why was the pool closed?
It was closed for 2 days for routine maintenance but the other pool was open. We’ve been swimming in both now.
