I have decide to retire and to keep myself busy Im getting out my old gear and getting out there to shoot some landscape. I am so happy to see that you are still with us on UA-cam. Last time I watched you were using Canon gear not Fuji.
Wow you are way out of date with me as I have not had Canon’s for years. Maybe you should treat yourself to one epic trip with me next September last place left for Faroe Islands
I enjoyed the video as usual Paul. What a fantastic place to photograph and visit. I was waiting for the Benny Hill music when you went to get your selfie. Fantastic image's mate. Catch you on the next one.
That's a very difficult question, most if not all are impressive, I have re-watched the video and the one at 8.40 is not too shabby!😀5@@paulcomptonpdphotography
It seems to have changed so much in the 17 years since I was there. More tourism and development. Would love to go back. I've climbed Staettaratindur (highest mountain) twice, many fond memories and amazing photos 😂❤🥰 Before I left I bought pretty much every topo map of the islands in the shop in Torshavn. Blew the budget but worth it. Each islands map came in a shrink-wrapped bundle ❤ The wall map I bought now sits in my toilet so I can look at the islands while on the throne.
The Faroe's has to be every landscapers dream location and Drangarnir is the most dramatic, I went there March 2019 It was the hardest trip I have ever done walking, to that location took a lot mental fortitude and concentration, Because as Mads would say" you slip you fall you die" but the reward was worth it! Every day I look at the Drangarnir sea stacks from the lower level on my desktop with our guide Thomas on the ledge to give it scale, rather him than me! taking the boat looks a lot easier though, you did get some great images Paul!

Maps sounds really good idea. Having the big map it cool I have a UK one with so many pins.

It is 100% worth the walk. Yep if you slip it could be very bad. But the path is a good one
