- Welcome to Visakhapatnam (Vizag) - the first port city of India. It is also the 4 largest city in South India, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. I stayed in Visakhaptnam for 4 days during which I have covered most of the tourist places in the city and also a few of the hidden food joints. Visakhapatnam or Vizag is famous for its beaches. The most famous beach is Rk Beach or Ramakrishna Beach. I have been to Rk beach, Bhimli, Rushikonda beach and also Yarada beach.
Places I have been to:
1. RK Beach

3. Rushikonda Beach
4. Bheemli Beach
5. Fishing Harbour
6. Famous Andhra Thali in Vizag
7. Night Food Street
8. Best Place to have Breakfast
9. Monastery In Visakhapatnam
10. Famous Biryani places in visakhapatnam
and more.

I belong from Visakhapatnam i just felt like writing it- i know it's not new to see your own place in some vlog but the way you filmed it highlighting the little and tiny detailings i really appreciated and loved that. Everytime feel like person who spends thier childhood can't connect to anyother place rather then this...I spent 25years there and stayed from 92 to 2015...till now no placed touched me...this place have mountain oneside and beach otherside and however the climate in morning from. Evng 3 it will be very pleasant...city of destiny it is...tq for the visuals

Priyanka - wonderful reporting with pertinent and accurate information. Well done. I appreciate it more as a Vizagite myself with ancestry dating back to 250 years in the city. Actually I live close to the Naval War Memorial and live opposite the beach. However, a couple of things. You did not show are mention about TU 142 Aircraft museum which is right opposite the submarine museum. You were wondering what was that white watery sweet you ate. It is called “pootha (coated) Reku (wafers)”. It is a specific sweet made in two three districts of Andhra Pradesh.
