    If you haven't mastered the first rule of fluency, fluency becomes a LOT harder to achieve. How you think determines how you live. :)

      +EnglishAnyone Despite the fact that you speak very fast in this video, I was able to understand all the things that you said clearly. I'm a Portuguese native speaker and I think my fluency in English is improving.

    you are all right, I 'm from Brazil and my first language is Portuguese. I created a way to 'study' English all day long without realize. I wake up and the first word that I speak is in English and my appointment after waking up like take a shower make coffee and stuff like that I speak with myself.... when I drive, clean the house, walk the dog I listen podcast... when I can't listen I try to describe the stuff on street and before sleeping I think in English what I've done during day and what I am supposed to do tomorrow... what I 'd like to talk to everybody you don't need to sit down to study it sometime is so boring... trying to have fun learning a new language... I've been studying English for 7 month and my improvement was bigger than others students at my school

    • @mathht
      @mathht 8 років тому +2

      +vinicius rosa I agree with you. I've created my own methods of learning and one of them is to literally talk to myself in english so I can practice my speaking. It really works! I don't know if you were in a rush while typing this but it looks like you were, if not, then you should work on your punctuation marks skills so you can sound more like a native speaker. Greetings form a fellow brazilian.

      wow. your story is so impressive. i'm doing like you and even though it has been just 4weeks, I made a BIG progress comparing to my starting point. I'm so exciting. so totally agree with your point that learning and practicing English, we should be fun, not be bored.

    Hay I use tie fillip u a quite while and I used tibiae my English just for working needs although from couple of years I decided to teach because my background college and here in Brazil the same question comes over and over from whatever students are is: How to be a fluent? How long am I able tie speak? And so on. So I would like to say thank u because I already think and used to say to them - be responsible - transfer your daily life into English - make English your daily habit as the same like to feed yourself, we never forget that. Ok Mrs I thank and I used tie share your videos with my students like this one . I do have struggle like u had with Dutch , it has been my many years goal. Arigato gozaimas. Nelson
