Hey brother I'm sure this isn't the comment you want to see but from fan/viewer point of view I think it's safe to say I speak for a lot of us when I ask what happened with sxs blog? I don't except trash talk or put downs but man you guys were legendary!!! Either way love the content and keep up the good work man!!! RICH RULES BABY!!!!
Helpful for next time, the lower rear bolts are just held together with a cheap tab, cut the tab and you can slide the bolts back individually allowing you to do one arm at a time
I can't believe the X3 doesn't have double shear mounting points for the a-arms, it seems like that would be standard. Plus the mounting tabs they do have are pretty thin metal. Hopefully they fix all that in the next model year.
I dont remember how i put the lower a arms with the gusset on mine bymyself but it wasnt that bad lol. Definietly a full days worth of work 😅.. love the vids RR
Things will improve once there’s a solid team and time under their belts as a team. Always tough when just starting a channel, especially when the person is from a well known group. But I’m here for the journey, from solo not doing a whole lot to being bigger than SxS blah
i always noticed there was a disconnect between rich and the crew in the sxs videos .. i never knew what was going on behind the scenes but i could see it in the videos.. either way, wishing everyone the absolute best and success in everything yawl do . much respect
For the Rear 10:51 are the rear upper arm bolts you slid the plate onto are those the factory bolts or does the kit come with new bolts? The bolts that actually mount through the upper rear arms?
i think hes talking about the rear upper plate. the factory plate only has 2 holes while the new one you held up has 4 holes. which the frame has those two upper holes pre drilled from the factory but they dont use them or come with bolts in those locations. So it would seem to me that inorder to make the rear upper arms ( somewhat double shear). Would require two extra bolts in those locations along with two spacers the same width as the a-arm bolt shafts.
Just buy a polaris and you don't have to upgrade every moving part to keep it from breaking under normal usage! Lol... oh and you don't have to dismantle the entire machine to replace 1 part...ha ha. But they sure are fast goddamnit! Woooo
Hey Rick I have some questions I have a 2023 x3 turbo rr xrs and I ordered a level 1 suspension kit from CA technology and I was wanting to know if my winch will work with the double sheer kit it’s a Can-Am 4500 pound winch with a pre-runner front bumper is there enough room from the winch to the frame to get that double sheer in there it’s not what do I have to do?
You should be fine. The winch bumper/ mount replaces the stock bulkhead and goes on in front of the gusset kit. The XRC in this video comes from the factory with a winch mount bulkhead. I have a 22 XRS RR with a Warn Axon winch and it fits perfectly. My kit is from CT Raceworx but they are all about the same. The CA kit is quality stuff.
@@richrules Thanks for replying! I just bought ‘23 maxx rs with smart shox and would like to install gusset kit and a good winch (preferably 4500lb) before I get it all dirty. Had a good experience with KFI for my quads, don’t have much experience with sxs as this is my first one. Any recommendations?
Rick, have you thought about hiring a shop helper, someone to take under your wing and teach him when business picks up? If you do, let me know. I will move there from Arizona to take the position. I love everything off-road and mechanically inclined, career welder/fabricator. I’m looking to move out of state and start over. I’d be your man for the job. I’ll clean toilets sweep floors stack tires whatever needs done just to get my foot in the door.
I’m slowly starting up my own business in my shop finely have stuff to start rolling into it. Working on a costumers RZR xpt. Spun a rod bearing so complete motor rebuild on the lower end. Maybe someday we if you down in OK hit me up we could start doing business together. 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Turns out fixing broken stuff is fun sometimes lol
It's very fun fixing broken stuff when upgraded parts are replacing factory parts.
Rich Rules Baby !

What happened aren't they still all together?
Just a business deal that didn't work out fairly for everyone. Still in the court system so he probably can't talk about it much..
I put mine on by myself… for real almost cried lol
Really appreciate the support bud! CA tech ftw!
Rich rules baby! Love anything you do I will watch it! Peace

I try to cut as few things as possible on others machines.

Just done this to my x3. Ct raceworks kit though. Nice kit.
Turns out rich is cool but the crew is what kept me coming back. Good luck solo bud

Did you end up with the CR500? That would be a great build video.
Yup we are all still patiently waiting

I always noticed Rick seemed to have a short temper and always seemed like there was tension with the other guys.

All the bolts for the arms are factory.

Clean the radiator while you're right there.
You think G force is better than shock therapy??
I do.
@@richrules damn I was literally about to buy some shock therapy springs. I might have to reconsider
why did the customer need a new smart lok diff?
When is the apparel coming out?
I paid for the order 2 weeks ago lol hopefully soon!
Is this gusset kit compatible with winch?
Yes depending on what you have. They all fit a little different
