Your written review, alongside both Major HiFi and AV Forums written and video reviews, informed my decision to purchase the Solitaire T as a multiple scenario usage headphone with a sharp focus on finite audio quality, passively or wirelessly!
Bought mine in gorgeous white/silver just before Christmas (in fact, the day before the Android app dropped!), and I've been smitten since.
So much so that I'll be trading away my trusty Focal Elear headphones simply due to the sonic qualities and versatility of different modes that the Solitaire T can do.
I'll be, in the upcoming months, trading the Elear's, alongside AKG K 701 Pro and Audeze EL8 Ti, towards either (or both) FiiO M17 DAP and custom balanced cabling for the Solitaire T.
Thank you for your honest review and, and hope you had a lovely Christmas.
    Happy New Year! 🎉🍾🎧🎶

Another nice detailed review Teoh. Personally I can never see myself spending $1000 plus for headphones, although I can appreciate good audio.

Update: The headphones has slightly more bass with ANC mode compared to passive mode (with HQ) and transparency mode

I'm in doubt between the 5909 and the solitaire, which one is better in terms of sound? because I can only order the solitaire in Germany and the 5909 everywhere

It's down to personal preference. One is not better than the other. They are just tuned slightly different. I have the 5909 and I love it. Good headphones make even non-CD quality music sound great.

I know it's not a fair comparison because they are different types of headphones.
Does anyone own both, the T+A solitaire T and the Denon D9200?
I own the D9200 + Gryphon xDSD. I love it.
Using it with the USB cable from the mobile phone to Gryphon.
The sound quality is absolutely amazing for my taste.
I do listen rock, pop, heavy metal, country... no hip hop, rap...
I'd like to have some Bluetooth headphones " close" to this sound quality.
As I said, they are different types of headphones and it's impossible to get the same sound quality through the Bluetooth
Any advices are welcome, thank you in advance.

Are iPhones or Android phones better paired with this set of cans?

Realistically speaking, it is difficult to hear the difference between iPhones and Android, at least for me. So it's 50-50

Apple is well known for purposely downgrading non Apple products , so android would be better or a dac
