Bah. Don’t make fashion of our passion. They can’t stick to their shit and leave alone the small livelihood to the metalartists. They should not abuse the culture and language of the metal scene… no one makes enough from merch or let alone shows. Most of us play for free or even pay to play. And these artists makes way too much. I appreciate designers getting more money but honestly. Fashion companies can fuck off. Buy the shirts etc from the actual bands instead.
The album is called Vultures because they're "Culture Vultures". The artwork is a lazy attempt on purpose. Just like how black metal was a lazy attempt to protest good metal.
WAITT A MINUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ! 3:20 I am the guy qho i think ANY font made could be a nice logo if you works realy on it, i used art dystopia at my band logo design and it works so well, you have to just know how to use the fonts and know what message u want to give. is not a bad font, is just hard work to do, but it works
Varg is the best!He came to prominence because he created music that became an inspiration for new black metal genres for years to come! And not because he played bass in Mayhem nor because he killed Euronymous! In his music he never promoted Nazism but his Viking/Norwegean heritage and how it was all destroyed after the Christianisation of the North! This days everyone is Antisemitic and they are promoting the destruction of Israel but for some reason it is accepted and celebrated by the mainstream media!!But still if you say Burzum on any platform of Meta you get banned!Something is critically wrong with our current society
Pffff lmfao. The second worst rip-off since the Teddy YG/Cattle Decapitation incident. Also that logo with the double headed eagle is just the nationality marking/shoulder patch of the german federal police, the only differences are in the font and eagle head count. It's only getting worse and worse with kanye lol. I'll get some popcorn...
Oh my fuck, I forgot about that - and it still have the cattle decap logo on it and everything haha. Yeah the whole angle from Ye is very blasé with this artwork and coinciding merch release, the lad has really gone off the wall the last few years ⚔️
Any publicity is good publicity to some. Once again, an artist that the news and social media has tried to ban into oblivion is being featured internationally and getting more publicity than anyone could wish for. This is also at no cost to the artist. Those who try to ban ideas, thoughts, and people always end up with the opposite result.
Agree with everything you said. Incredibly lazy design by Gosha. I actually happen to like some Burzum stuff, despite Varg being a bit looney, but this attempt with Ye is definitely just for controversy. Even still, it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so damn lazy. They couldn't even properly adjust the kerning of the type. Lol. Good vid, man!
Nice one dude - yeah for sure, that's why I think the Christophe logo for Rihanna for example is a far sicker use of the aesthetic in pretty much every way ⚔️
Profanity and laziness hits hard on morale of people like you who dig their ground with their own horns just to refine their art, but hey it is a path of a true samurai! I love your channel and very happy you post your work and tutorials so we could grow and become who we want. Finding teachers who love their craft (like you) and be able to learn from them is just priceless. Unfortunately in post modern era value is not about skill and art, but more about cringe, low key emotions and other basic animal reflexes which sometimes may create something unique just because it is breaking all the rules, but overall just produces more garbage. But hey, value of people like you is growing, especially compared to such profanity like "kanyes geniousness" . Sry for my english i hope you dig the message. Love your stuff, unique and high quality teacher
I don't read into a whole lot of who's getting flack for their lyrical themes, like Slam bands and their misogyny advocating r@p€ and slaughtering women, but it does look like ns bands are still all the rage to hate. Weird standards in the Metal world. But sure, Kanye fits right in with this nonsense.
@@SpearheadMedia I really miss when death metal was goofy and over the top for it's own sake. Themes becoming standardized into genre formulas really wrecked all the fun.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? Not sure if I can agree with that on this along with the other ill saturated artwork that is made for work that is isn’t in the realm of metal. To each his own.
Wouldn’t mind more of this sort of videos - like 10-15 minutes bits of commentary style 👌 - Anyways, Ye should take his meds again, completely unhinged mess of a man. I’m not „offended“ by the artwork itself or what it implies (who is this cypher even for?), rather by its laziness and tryhard edge. Makes me hate super-rich even more when they have all the means of getting professional help but instead harass the public with their broadcasted obnoxious mental derailing.
i hate kanye don’t get me wrong, but low effort =/= bad. if the aesthetic you want doesn’t require a lot of effort, why does it matter? just makes you sound salty as an artist ngl. if you put more effort in to get less in the end, that’s your problem
Art is in essence subjective and I respect your opinion if you think the vultures record artwork is good - for me though, a lazy (and worse looking) rip off of burzum record art by a pair of dodgy bois doesn't count as good album art haha. Cheers for checkin the vid and yer feedback mate! ⚔️

@polkaputo3226 hahaha crafting the entire artform of a subgenre movement with hand drawn logos, illustrations and cut & paste photocopy machines with zero money is sick - a multi millionaire, self professed "genius", lifting part of that aesthetic from a contrarian edgelord for some contrarian edgelord points is big cringe

They should not abuse the culture and language of the metal scene… no one makes enough from merch or let alone shows. Most of us play for free or even pay to play. And these artists makes way too much.
I appreciate designers getting more money but honestly. Fashion companies can fuck off. Buy the shirts etc from the actual bands instead.
you are pronouncing burzum completely wrong. it hurts my ears
Great video man. It would've been nice to see more reviews on band/artist logos or trends in design in general.
Cheers mate, was fun to make - definitely might do more like that in future ⚔️
You cant say “objective” and then start talking about opinions 3 seconds after that.
I'm just waiting for Kanye to rock an Arghoslent shirt or put a sample in a song.
The album is called Vultures because they're "Culture Vultures". The artwork is a lazy attempt on purpose. Just like how black metal was a lazy attempt to protest good metal.
Black metal is great
WAITT A MINUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ! 3:20 I am the guy qho i think ANY font made could be a nice logo if you works realy on it, i used art dystopia at my band logo design and it works so well, you have to just know how to use the fonts and know what message u want to give. is not a bad font, is just hard work to do, but it works
Burzum came before he joined Mayhem, just to be a pedant!
I'm wearing a Kneecap tee, great logo design. Simple but effective....and i can read it, unlike my Nargoroth tee.
Yeah, I think it’s worse now
Kanye been saying a lot of things Varg would say lately so this checks out.
100%, as we say in Ireland they're "two cheeks on the same arse" haha ⚔️
@@SpearheadMedia 😂😂😂
The album is bad
I guess he really is BLACK metal
Its funny how his album hast 18 Tracks
18 stands for A H
Adolf Hitler
Kanye is currently wanted by police for a string of Scandinavian church arsons
Norge?
Pffff lmfao. The second worst rip-off since the Teddy YG/Cattle Decapitation incident. Also that logo with the double headed eagle is just the nationality marking/shoulder patch of the german federal police, the only differences are in the font and eagle head count.
It's only getting worse and worse with kanye lol. I'll get some popcorn...
Oh my fuck, I forgot about that - and it still have the cattle decap logo on it and everything haha.
Yeah the whole angle from Ye is very blasé with this artwork and coinciding merch release, the lad has really gone off the wall the last few years ⚔️
I disagree this being a positive thing for the metal scene……
Also a fair and valid opinion ⚔️
Any publicity is good publicity to some. Once again, an artist that the news and social media has tried to ban into oblivion is being featured internationally and getting more publicity than anyone could wish for. This is also at no cost to the artist. Those who try to ban ideas, thoughts, and people always end up with the opposite result.
one of your best vids matey! learned so much. and yea fck kanye
Ah cheers sellek, was good craic to make as a breather in between the tutorials I'm workin on haha ⚔️
I am even thinking it was apple photo edit did the trick not photoshop 😂
It also looks like a frame from Walking Dead TV show intro.
Ohhh now I gotta check that out and see which frame you're talking bout ⚔️
Agree with everything you said. Incredibly lazy design by Gosha. I actually happen to like some Burzum stuff, despite Varg being a bit looney, but this attempt with Ye is definitely just for controversy. Even still, it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so damn lazy. They couldn't even properly adjust the kerning of the type. Lol. Good vid, man!
Nice one dude - yeah for sure, that's why I think the Christophe logo for Rihanna for example is a far sicker use of the aesthetic in pretty much every way ⚔️
After seeing Carti in Fetus Deformity merch I'm pretty sure he is into metal and grind
Fuck yeah you love to see it mate
What a great learning experience hahaha
hahah nice one pal, was an enjoyable vid to make! ⚔️
The art is sick. You tripping
Just say no.
Whopper vid, million views by next week!
Haha cheers dude, hope yer keeping well boss! ⚔️
the clothe vulture its from rfa not nazi one, anyway the states is a dictatorship too so
But kanye already sampled burzum in the past, idk how kanye fans don't know this
Did he really? Damn, I gotta check that out haha ⚔️
@@SpearheadMedia yea the song is pussy print with gucci mane, the burzum son is Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Saule Der Singularitat
He wants to be varg so bad
I really liked your takes and this video format for you! Always admiring your work!
Ah thank you, I'm glad you like the video - it was just for a bit of fun, but id definitely be interested in making more like this in future ⚔️
Creepy incel misogyny slam = F-
Poo and puke themed grind = A+
@@SpearheadMedia I saw the Gutalax clip and smiled
@@SpearheadMedia I really miss when death metal was goofy and over the top for it's own sake. Themes becoming standardized into genre formulas really wrecked all the fun.
@JasonCodreanu 100% agree dude - there's a certain beauty in the self aware tongue in cheek vibes of old school dm!
@golden_calf going to OEF is on my bucket list! ⚔️
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? Not sure if I can agree with that on this along with the other ill saturated artwork that is made for work that is isn’t in the realm of metal. To each his own.
Yooo dude, I just realised - are you Heavy Defenders Studios!? Big love mate ⚔️
Yessir!!! @@SpearheadMedia
For trve cvlt points Ye should have photocopied the art...
hahah and printed it on art shop coloured paper, flyer style ⚔️
Looks good to me
Yeaaah Existence!
Wouldn’t mind more of this sort of videos - like 10-15 minutes bits of commentary style 👌
-
Anyways, Ye should take his meds again, completely unhinged mess of a man. I’m not „offended“ by the artwork itself or what it implies (who is this cypher even for?), rather by its laziness and tryhard edge.
Makes me hate super-rich even more when they have all the means of getting professional help but instead harass the public with their broadcasted obnoxious mental derailing.
Cheers Dom, deffo be up for making more vids like this in future when I get the time.
And yes mate, fully agree with you on all points haha ⚔️
They have to stop ripping OUR scene off. The music doesn’t fit the bill at allll and yeah Gatekeeping is necessary
Love your pfp dude - got a nice Type O pin arrive in the post yesterday ⚔️
More like this would def be dopeeee
Will do mate, had a lotta fun with this one ⚔️
yes please gimme more
Sick mate, might make more similar to this in future. Got loadsa tutorials in the works first tho! ⚔️
Why are you pretending you can't say Hitler on UA-cam?
As a black metal and Kanye fan I love the merch
i hate kanye don’t get me wrong, but low effort =/= bad. if the aesthetic you want doesn’t require a lot of effort, why does it matter? just makes you sound salty as an artist ngl. if you put more effort in to get less in the end, that’s your problem
Art is in essence subjective and I respect your opinion if you think the vultures record artwork is good - for me though, a lazy (and worse looking) rip off of burzum record art by a pair of dodgy bois doesn't count as good album art haha. Cheers for checkin the vid and yer feedback mate! ⚔️
@@SpearheadMedia i don’t think it’s that good. that said, what old school black metal album cover isn’t “lazy”? every single one of them is just a picture with text and a logo slapped on it. hate kanye for being a piece of shit, sure, but hating him for this album cover is weird
@@SpearheadMedia now you just sound like a hardcore gatekeeper. literally everyone from that scene was a contrarian edgelord. that’s why black metal exists in the first place.
If thinking Kanye and Gosha are cringe makes me a gatekeeper, I'll take first watch son ⚔️
Didn’t drop it yet and there’s nothing wrong with the artwork
🤘⚫
kanye is extremely cringe 🫠
i like the vultures album covers tbh but i hate burzum
V 4 LYFE ⚙️
V4L! Miss you 🖤⚔️
The cover looks great. You just have bad taste.
