Great update. Lack of info have made people pay 200k twice for verification. This is helpful. For recommendations, I am looking out for more video collaboration with people living there, round table dissucusions, games, questions/answers, life in a day series, tours of places there e.t.c

If I was born in 1995, and I want to get the NPC today in 2024, will it be written that it was issued in 1995 or 2024, if 2024 do i need affidavit? Note: thsi is with regard to the date it was issued.
2024 but before you will need to do affidavit to back it up

Is it compulsory to legalise the document? Just the legalization alone is stressful, not to mention health insurance and other informations that are out there... So once more is at compulsory to legalise the documents?
Yes, it is.

My question is, I have gone through the authentication and legalization phase at the Ministry of Education and Foreign Affairs respectively about two years ago, do I need to go through this again, or I can jumpstart at the Austrian embassy already? putting into thought that I have done everything at the two ministries. thank you
You can go head with the verification if you have a date and you're certain of the authentication done at both Ministry

If you can do IELTS, no problem but an English proficiency letter is also fine. Either from your university or from MOE

Thanks for the explanation on the age declaration aspect. I want to ask another question. Must my affidavit and attestation carry same date. E.g i do my affidavit on the 24th November must the attestation at the NPC also be 24th November. Because NPC just gave me 8 working days before its ready.

There are very few schools that accept that. You can go ahead and search for them and apply.

You don't need to verify Police character.
You can't use photocopy.
You will have to do birth attestation

You can get it at any state in Nigeria, including FCT

My sister thanks for this update, but what of in a case someone didnt go to school, like she dropped out in primary school and didn't attend bith secondary and university but has been a tailor, there is nothing to verify at ministry of education, can this pose a problem or threath to a family reunion visa.
For family reunion, you need to legalize your marriage certificate, birth certificate etc...

What of a lady that is married and has changed her surname to that has husband?
All her educational documents are in her original surname but her international passport is in her husband's name. Though she has done news paper publication to that effect.

You can do an affidavit for change of name.
Also you can attach the news paper to it.
Please my school said they don't issue official transcript to someone, they only send to an institution or organisation you want them to send to and the student copy they issue they wrote on it " student copy not for official use" so can I authenticate the student copy?
I used a student copy. You may request that as well.

Hope he can write it the exact same way when the lawyer visits. If yes, then I think it's fine.
If you're not certain, someone else like your mum, uncle or elder sibling should do that. Make sure the person is close by

How much of bank statement will you need?
Does it matter how your names are arranged on your documents? For example if on some documents it's surname, first name then middle name, while on others it's first name, middle name, then surname, others surname, middle name then first name. Is this a problem?
Once the labelling of the names are not mixed, then it's fine.

Meanwhile I have my birth certificate from NPC. I was born 31/10/1997 and took the cert 12/1/1998. Do I still need an affidavit of age?

Worse part is to add supplementary courses for important subjects that you might not have gained strong point if it's needed for the MSC.

What if the person that sign my affidavit for me is my brother
If he's less than 5 years older than you, then it won't be accepted.
For safety, look for a relative that is 10yrs older than you are.
Most ideal persons are your parents.
