Sounds good. I wonder how it compares to the Indonesia-made IBG J-45s...
Im thinking probably really similar. Apparently these have scalloped bracing which would make it sound better. But they will still probably be really heavy compared to the real gibsons

Hi, what brand and gauge of strings? 9 volt battery? Where is it made?

I'm pretty sure these are .12 Gibson phosphor bronze strings, indeed requires a 9-volt battery, made in China. Thank you for the kind words!

£ 1599 gets you a j45 studio so not seeing the attraction here at £1200 or so.. but maybe that’s just me
Studio is Walnut back sides, and few other differences from normal j45 varieties
I dont think it sounds particularly great for the money, you would be much better off buying a 2nd hand Indonesian made IBG-J45s IMHO
2nd hand anything makes you better off.
This one is definitely much better.
For that money, I'd get an Eastman. Much better example of guitars coming out of China.
