Also, for anybody wondering why they blew up and maybe the chanel can help me. The original relaunch which I cant remember I think they actually called it Series 16? They got them into Target and Walmarts. The old stuff actually blew up over night.
Vincent The Keeper it was all new series 1 in 2003 series 16 never officially came out because of the law suit.
a boy in my class In 1990 had these cards I was 6 he brought them in they were great he had the same pack you had in your hand he told me their was a movie I didn't believe in because he was laughing years later I found out my library had the garbage pail kids movie on dvd and watched it was a fun so bad it's good movie in my opinion 🕺😊
Every pack of series one you open makes my numerous unopened packs become ever more scarce and valuable. I bought series one back in the 80’s and had the opportunity to pick the best ones out of a collectors box ....the guy was just trying to get rid of the cards. I hand picked all the perfectly centered, un stained cards (as best I could find) and put together a near “perfect” set with checklists, and all glossy. Fun stuff!
When I first watched a video about gpk card unboxing I really wanted to have all those cards now ! Even thought I'm 17 now 😂

i sold an unopened box of my 1st series for 200.00 bucks in the late 90's. Makes me sick. Probably could get 20G now.

@@gpkforever any damage left behind? I have a unopened os1 pack that appears to have nasty nick or evil eddie on top, but the gum does not freely wiggle around.

Its interesting to see they fixed their quality control at some point. My series 1 stuff had off-center stuff and miscuts. I sold a complete Series 1 set for like $250 in 2002. Which was about 75$ more than I paid for it 18 months earlier. I could have shopped for a $300 buyer...maybe.
Series 2 NM complete sets were $50-80 back then. Series 3 -5 sealed boxes were $7-10 each.
I don't want to know what you paid in 2012. In 2000 2001 sealed 1st series boxes were rare and fetching 800 to 1200

The os 1st and 2nd series were always my favorites. The 3rd series on up I was never really impressed with them.

Glenn McGrath we’ve had them since 2012 I think . eBay sale them that’s a good place to look.

Yeah they are very expensive, but so are the cards we pulled , the whole box was glossy cards, and we are PSA grading the cards.
