I've seen this drama two times and I think that it's a true masterpiece. The script, the music, the photography, the director and BOTH ASTONISHING ACTORS!!! (Specially Kim Hee Ae who captures my attention every time she's on the screen) Congratulations to all the people involved in this show!
This was on Netflix. I was going to watch it again, but they removed it yesterday, 5/22/2020 ! The background music, the emotional desire of the two main characters was so powerful and moving. ...Loved it!
Secret Affair, tells the story of a woman who has never been treated well by people around her, she does a good job but treats like trash but she perseveres in pursuit of her dreams..and a man stole her heart by playing piano..it might be for honesty and the sincerity of the man conveyed his feelings to her.that is the woman in everyone treats her badly but this guy is very nice to her ... not everything, love and money are related ....till now, I still can't forget this story. ... happy to tell you to watch it ... Kim Hee Ae, love u more 3000x❤💚😘😍🌺💋
The most magnifiscent drama I ever seen about love, art and thruth. Yooahin is an incredible and amazing actor. He don't play, he is SoonJe from the bottom to the hair. Playing to play piano as he was the sound pianist. Kissing scenes are the most hottest and sensual love scenes between a man and a woman I ever seen. Because of the great intelligence of their art, both actors.

"Secret Love Affair" EXCELLENT choice of actors: Kim Hee-ae, and Yoo Ah-in, huge age gap, but Kim Hee-ae has a teenage girlish body, spirit of a teenager, acting is fantastic, amazing, supper, supper! Nobody has surpassed her acting ever since in such movies (age gap). Yoo Ah-in' s acting skills are superb! Every drama/movie he is in, it's a masterpiece of acting! Charisma, acting skills, convincing love and...classical music + compassion make this love story and the drama THE DRAMA OF THE CENTURY! I have watched it numerous times, I guess more than 10 times already, still keep it on my favorite list AND STILL WATCH it once in a while. I spent all night watching it for the first time and I cried! Later I watched again and again and still can't stop enjoying it. The music goes so deep into your heart, stays there, rings it in your ears forever, and you can't forget it. LOVE IT FOREVER!

Both actors actually do play piano albeit not at the concert pianist level, but still quite well, well enough to practice a complex piece. Their fingerings give that away. Besides, both are incredible at their craft; acting.
Love everything about this drama. The intertwining passion of the two beautifully becoming one love at the piano. The music scores was a powerful masterpiece and Yoo Ah in is an excellent eccentric actor. Bravo!!! 👏🫰💐
I saw Secret Love Affair several years ago and many many kdramas since then. It remains the best I've seen and one of the most profoundly moving series I've ever seen. Kim Hee-ae and Yoo Ah-in have such a center of gravity that all attention pulls toward these two. I watched it with subtitles as I don't know Korean, but this time I just watched the two, watched how well they performed together. It's even a more wonder than before. Finally, I can say enough about the Lee Namyeon's score. It is so dramatic on its own and I've listened to it many times since.
Such a hot drama!! I think its the excitement and thrill of hiding their romance even though its wrong in many ways! Yoo Ah Hin's acting is so fresh and innocent here..he plays the character so believable here that its possibly related to real life events! Director Oh's part here depicts a strong willed middle aged woman but sometimes marriage hardships can be too much to handle so she couldn't help it but revered in it! Such matured content and the drama is more polished and sophisticatedly filmed! 5 stars though! Is there a second series?

둘의 감정이 손에 쥘 듯 느껴진다. 이렇게 사랑이 시작될 수도 있겠지. 피아노 선곡도 죽음이네. OST 내면 끝장일 듯.

다시 봐도, 봐도 봐도 저때의 유아인은 이선재 그 자체네요. 소년과 남자의 그 어딘가 서성이는 선재. 얼굴도 너무 곱거나 과하게 잘생긴 얼굴이 아니라 더 몰입되는거 같아요. 연기야 말할것도 없고.
은근한 분위기에 귀를 간지럽히는 피아노 소리가 너무 섹시한 드라마..♡
오옷~ 하이라이트가 20분이 넘어요. 보는재미 쏠쏠하네요. 듣는 귀도 너무 즐거워요. 다음주 너무 기다려져요^^
