It's nice to see Rusty and Sir Handel interact, something we didn't really see in the Railway Series.
Or Sir Handel and Duncan.
Ah splendid work! I like how Mike elaborates on Sir Handel's time doing Peter Sam's work as well as his own, as well as hearing how Duncan came onto the railway.
This should serve as a perfect story set between "Rusty Helps Peter Sam" and "Home At Last." Here, we get to see how Sir Handel is handling Peter Sam's work as well as his own after the accident. And I must say, I'm looking forward to seeing Duncan's first day on the Narrow Gauge Railway.
Brilliant job on this episode! Theburiedtruck is definitely the right choice for providing the narration in this one. Keep up the good work! :)

That's a great little episode. This sort of takes place at some point between 'Trucks' and 'Home At Last' :).

what size track do you use for the narrow gauge engines?
This may seem silly Shunter, but where are Skarloey, Rheneas & Duke in all this?
Skarloey & Rheneas were away being repaired and they weren’t featured in any stories in this volume. BTW this whole volume presumably takes place before ‘Home At Last” meaning Skarloey would return back to the SKR soon. And Duke on the other hand was still buried in the shed under the land on the Mid-Sodor Railway so this takes place before “Duke The Lost Engine” if going the RWS style.
