If you take smaller pieces of hair it will look more natural. Also slightly tease the base on the underside of the hair you pulled through (the side you don’t see). Then on the side where the part is exposed, use heat to lay it down. You can also use setting foam to mold it, then tie it down flat and dry it.
make the braids that are close to the closure smaller. and if you need to add hair, then cute the hair from the weft and crotchet it in at the part to make it full.
Unfortunately this works best with curly hair 😢 I would definitely try this for a work from home virtual meeting since nobody will be looking at the top of my head up close 😂 Thank you for the tutorial ❤
Can you please make a video taking out the install with crochets??? Thankssss. Love your videos you gave me a lot of insight on how to do this style confidently
I’ve always wondered if this method would work on straight hair so appreciate you trying it out! Also, what’s that lip color? 👀 I need a good nude gloss!
That part issa no...im thinking maybe to either get 2 micro cornbreads as anchors or crochet some straight hair in part or literally leave a thin bit of your hair out 🤔 im gonna think of something
You did an amazing job! I love it and will be trying this, side note I saw on Tictok a lady did this method but sewed down the top part to make flatter.
I don’t like the part the braids toward the middle in front maybe need to be smaller. Like it’s cute but part too wide. But they do have wigs that are made just like you expressed I just seen one you just clip it.
Just make the two middle braids smaller and closer together

This!!!

Use an iron to gently glide over the top to flatten it! My college roommate who does hair taught me that!
on that hair closest to the part use a curling wand and lay it , it should get flatter

😂😂😂
totally agree, better with curly hair
I like this technique. The hair is protected.

THIS is genius!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this!!!!
I know right I’ve been doing this also i wish i would’ve filmed it for UA-cam lol could’ve been making some money
I think you should make the braids up top smaller so that they are closer
This is so smart. I wonder if a zig-zag part or diagonal part would help disguise the dip in the middle on top of the head
All you have to do is make the 2 cornrow braides closer together and then crochet it then its perfect!
Gorgeous and great job explaining!
Would tying a scarf down for a while flatten the hair a bit more?
you have good energy
She does 💛
Girl, has anyone told you that you favor Erica Campbell from Mary Mary? 😍 you could be 1 of their sisters
I'm not sure about that, there is a big ditch in the middle😢
Beautiful, can't wait to try❤
Hey hunny how long can this style last and do you recommend sleeping in it? I have fine hair so I’m always tryna aviod ripping out my edges 😂❤
LOVE YOUR LIPSTICK...WHAT COLORS AND BRANDS ARE YOU WEARING??
I don't have any straight hair wigs, but this is how I wear my curly U-part wig.
I think this method looks amazing on curly hair. The straight hair needs work, but I can see the potential 💕
Please redo this with the braids smaller and closer together
Thank you I will try it out for my self as always loved your VIDEO keep them coming looking forward to seeing you again so beautiful great job
