I hate how some of you rankers just put a boss lower because "his moves are excessive" or "There was this move I could not dodge". I understand there has been a divide among the community on the complexity of the Elden Ring bosses. Some old souls players don't like them because they are "too complex" and have "less punish windows". But we have to understand that all these so called more complex bosses can be defeated easily if we actually learn and understand the patterns. There are some bullshit moves like waterfowl but these are very few overall. We also have to understand that Elden Ring gives the players so many build variety and tools that we can fight with and as a consequence the main bosses needed to be more complex. Its just the natural evolution to DS3. Personally I don't want them to go back to simpler boss designs, as long as there are no bullshit moves like waterfowl I want the bosses to have complicated movesets that I need to learn and understand how to properly dodge, even if it takes me hours. Morgott for example is one of the best bosses in elden ring and is such a cool and amazing fight yet you ranked him so low because his combos are excessive!! You can dodge all his moves, not one of these moves is unfair. There are bosses like Rellana and Mohg that even you said yourself you had lower but when you learned them more and got comfortable with them you actually really liked them. Basically we need to judge bosses on their mechanics and spectacle not on how well we can fight them.
@@BARBARBINKLEThat doesn't make him good. That's just a way to make him bearable. I could also summon someone and let them fight him but that doesnt make him better lol
I'm one of the people who agree with you. Fantastic fight. But he is also the textbook example of not enough HP. At least with Maliketh his lower HP is because he jumps around so much and his offense is so devastating him having lower HP makes the fight fair. With Morgott, he just needs about 25%-33% more HP and/or harder to stagger and he would be one spot below Messmer imo.
It's wild to me that people still consider waterfowl dance a bs move. There are so many ways to counter it, including plain dodging at all 3 ranges. It took a youtube video and maybe an hour for me to learn to dodge it consistently. If I can do it, so can anyone else. Take the time to actually learn her moveset, it is extremely rewarding. She is way too low on this list lol.
I think most people, myself included, don't like that it can feel unintuitive to dodge without tips on how to do so, such as with a video. It also feels lame that 90% of the difficulty comes from the 1 attack as opposed to her whole moveset being more nuanced.
How is Gaius above Radhan, Tbh radhan's attack isn't even a problem if you keep your distance. Gaius on the other hand lacks any remarkable music and that boar charge is very annoying to deal with
Did you use Dragon Hunter Katana against Bayle? Think of him like Rykard where fighting him with anything other than serpent hunter is playing on extra hard mode. His fight seems to be designed around that sword’s ash of war
BOOO-RING! you should rank top 10 Elden ring bosses who you’d like to suffocate you with their farts please ❤ My num 1 is the brick troll from bloodborne 😍😍😍

Gaius above so many great bosses is wild
Gaius is over hated. He’s pretty fun with the sekiro party if u fight him like oniwa.
@@BARBARBINKLE Pretty fun sure isn't enough to get above so many big names
@@fili0938 yea I agree this list is retarded.
As a Gaius defender him over morgott is ludicrous

Agree with most of the placements besides Gaius (B tier at best) and Dancing lion (A tier at least).
bro exactly dancing lion is the most fun ive had in a boss in almost forever
Morgott is EASILY an s tier boss. For me he is the 2nd best boss in the game and I have fought him very very often.

Nobody talking abt the fact that he put promise consort in 15 only
criminally underated
Dancing lion that low??? Top 5 bosses in elden ring easily.
For me it’s like bottom 3 😂
Not even close
I enjoy him but he is absolutely brought down because of the camera and the lightning phase
For me not top 5, but maybe top 10
Most of the “terrible” moves you mentioned can be parried.
If a move can only be reliably avoided by one means of defense, it’s certainly not brilliantly designed, yet fair point nevertheless
Most people never use parry
