UA Rise 16U vs ABC Young Lions 7 5 24

Game one of the Prep Hoops Hard Work Region Finals had us playing Friday night at 9:15pm. It was fine because we could get to the hotel and also go to the venue a little early and watch some games. We got a chance to see Randy Risler coach his Diamond team. His son Blake plays for them as well but normally plays with us. It'll be nice to have him back with us in Atlanta next weekend. It was also good to have our big guy back in the mix....Calvin Anderson is coming off a high ankle sprain. He got us going and kept us in it in the first half. This game was a contrast of styles and a back and forth affair but we caught fire in the second half and pulled away for a 14 point win. We didn't have to play until 12:20 Saturday so sleeping in and a good breakfast was a nice reward.
