i really like all four of the sentinel halo dudes. from the way people in twitch chats talk about them, i thought i wouldn't like some of them but they're all great. definitely been rooting for them and optic. (plus SSG for the elam bros, and faze's roster are cool)
just realized, when sen is up against optic the stage is lit up like christmas, and when they go to game 5 it feels like it too

For that last flag run it looks like once sudden death began the timer was replaced with a flag return counter and while it was being held the counter didn't move but because of the way the flag was being ran with the drop/grab strategy that each drop caused the counter to resume until it ran out in that last standoff. Can anyone confirm or elaborate? All the players seemed confused, but since the score wasn't tied that "sudden death" put all the onus on Sentinels to cap and Faze to stop
Youre kinda wrong.
«Juggling» the flag as it is called doesnt reduce the sudden death time, because the player is always ‘contesting’ the flag by staying in it’s zone
What happened at the end was that snakebite dropped the flag on the stairs, and walked/crouched outside of the zone, since it’s strictly horizontal and vertical from the end of the flagpole.
In the game’s mechanics snakebite was outside of the zone and didnt contest it at the tail end, leading to the sudden death timer ticking.
The confusion came from him probably not noticing in the heat of the moment, since it was VERY intense at that point
@@NoR110011 If that's the case then why was the circle nearly expired before he go to their flag base? It only moved during the time he was juggling it during the run but by that definition should've still been in contention up until that point so the margin "should" have been larger. I'm not disputing - again just seeking clarification
@@Ronc137 the sudden death counter didnt move an increment from 28:00 to 28:12. It was already so low because they cut out Faze and sen fighting for the flag outside Faze's base

@@BadDubII from what i know, geofiltering in matchmaking isn’t a problem because it just limits you to a few servers. in custom games, other players will be forced into your server, which would give you an advantage

Sentinels now seems like a one shot wonder team in esport. Always winning the first major tournament but whiffing the rest. Hopefully they'll prove themself to be a consistent number 1 team this year. Not only in halo, but also in val and other game.
As much as I hate the sentinels roster I have to respect what they have done for halo. Would like to see sentinels vs c9 grand finals since I know c9 will make it thier no doubt.
