I tried the 4 drop aurora when I first built this because we have so many items to turn. If the meta was different and I didn’t need to protect Hiram or my bodyguards as much it could be really really strong.
It's a spicy take for sure. I did a lot of experimenting with this idea, and unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to get 2 Dreaming Guardians on the board. I ended up going with ES for my first set champ. I played vs. a Purple Sapphire that had this same idea, and I easily got rid of the first copy in 2 turns. Of course, you need to know she's a priority once she's out. Good takes man, keep 'em coming!! +1 sub
@@Ruunan11 Great as I can still sing with Aurora “One Jump ahead” and then still shift her turn two… control is ramping at that point and the next turn I have more items
I love steel. And I think this combo is just more fun to play than emerald steel. It creates a fun puzzle for you and your opponent that you normally don’t have in “meta” matchups.
I've swapped Ariel for Belle before and it works very good. I only have 2 Belle's personally though, so I couldn't do the full swap. From my experience, I liked Ariel more because I was not playing against other item decks. In the mirror and against R/B, Belle would be better imo. Belle gives your Aurora more value because it can protect Belle from a removal action. Ariel already has ward, so late game Auroa is just protecting my bodyguards and Hiram.
thats almost my deck, but I put the big gramma Tala in as well and Avalanche instead of the rise of the titans. But i may change that. But this card showed real good use against bucky, now that he is going to be out, i might change that up :D
The dream is to get two on the board for full immunity to actions and abilities, but I like having her for a turn 3 song. And in most cases, your opponent needs to burn something they would rather play into your Hiram to get rid of her first. I think it’s a fun interaction that makes you and your opponent think on the fly.

I feel like all of my set champs around me are end of the month…. Would love to go out this to the test against more than just my locals crowd.
I run a 4-4 line of Aurora with the split between 2 Dream Guardians and 2 Lore Guardians but with the 2 drop Aurora
Still have 2 weeks until my areas set champs. I might still tinker around and try this. How does it feel against control?

We’ll have to see what cards this gets in set 5. The squirrel is still legal until launch day.
