This may be the first time I have ever commented on a UA-cam video but had to tell you what a great inspiration this is. Like others have said, I have been trying to get ideas to plan our yard for the 4 dogs we have. Two of them are hound dogs so that seems to add another level of difficulty in regards to possible escapes and general bad behavior lol. I am interested in the link to the dog house, I believe you said you are designing them for sale. If you have please let me know the link to look at them. Sorry if you've already provided it and I just don't see it, again, I'm not very UA-cam proficient.
I just installed mine without any grid mat as i want to make sure the pet waste goes straight down to the soil which means no weed fabric as weed fabric can absorb pet waste. I used a 2 inch thick plastic grid filled deodorized pet infill and gravel straight over the pounded down soil and since it is a grid it should keep shape and i stapled the turf straight down to a wood frame
This is fabulous! Very nice! - I am hoping to mud-proof a hilly area for 2 very mud-loving dogs. I know it won't turn out nearly this nice, but I appreciate your video which gives me some information to start planning from. Thank-You!
Love this idea... had watched a few diy videos and etc. but this is bar-none the BEST idea I have seen.... yes, I'd hire you guys, too!! Can you answer 2 questions. 1) what size area did you use for this and 2) is it connected to your house (how do the dogs gain entry?) Please and thank you...live this!!!!

I would like to know where I can purchase the dog house you built or the plan or something similar? I love the look and colors and it will pair nicely with my back yard decor. I am also in the PNW. It's a bit north of 500 square feet. The cost really depends on how much you are doing yourself and who you source the materials from. As to the dog houses, I am in limbo on that one for various reasons. But we'll see! Thank you!
How did you teach your dogs to use the wood chip area???? My dogs currently use the yard and I am hoping to fence off an area and make them a “dog park” something like this, but I’m afraid they will use the turf instead of the wood chip area. Tips?
