If you do it carefully, it doesn’t. But it depends what kind of gold coating your bezels have. I also have tutorials with uv resin tape, which is safer way to make resin jewelry 🙂

This is silicone mat 🙂 No you can not use paper, as paper will stick to resin when you cure it.

I order from different sites - amazon, aliexpress. I use only stainless steel pendants, they use to last longer 🙂 I usually make salt water test for new pendants. I let them sit in salt water for ~2 weeks. You can see pretty quickly which ones maintain their color and which not. Also I have noticed that darker gold plated stainless steel pendants are with much better quality than lighter/brighter ones.

@@user-xh1kv6jy9p I think so..I have seen people using AB resin with open bezels. But they usually use resin tape instead of silicone mat. I work only with UV resin.
