I never heard someone burnt a laser with MadLaser. The danger scanning too fast is that the galvo engines gets too hot and the axis melts, but limits in MadMapper should not let you reach this point. I often put max speed at maximum value, keeping my laser output at 30 kpps.
I have question regarding to the max speed, can it damage the laser to force it ?
