- £1.8 million skatepark in Les Quennevais, Jersey is the result of 5 years of planning, but is now open to the public.
Over 3,000m2 in size it features a huge bowl with a maximum depth of 9 feet, while the street section features no less than 12 rails, an array of banks, hips and transitions and 17 blocks and ledges.
You name it, it’s probably got it!
Skaters Summer heaven, there’s always loads of seasonal work in jersey with accommodation provided within the hotel and catering industry, get over there spend the summer working & skating in one of the most beautiful islands gorgeous weather and amazing nightlife. Definitely a must for any young adults ✌️
Please explain how an Island of 107000 people get a park like this but cities in the UK with over 1 million people can't get anything near it?
Dirty money!
Totally unfair , there’s Lots of money in the Channel Islands, it’s big for offshore banking. they’re not ruled by the crown, they have they’re own government, money, laws etc I think they’re connected with the UK bc of the sea if that makes sense lol
I worked over there years ago. Definitely need to go back one day check this out.
@Peace Love and unity 💞 Nah. The City of London is where the super rich from the world over come to make their money look clean, the Channel Islands and other former dependencies are where they hide it from the tax authorities, ie, elected governments which means hiding it from us.
Tax Dodgers
Because the UK didn’t pay for it. Jersey tax payers did.
That's quite the park. Well done Jersey.
Just rid it on BMX its really good in the bowl we are very lucky to have it
so good, we can’t wait to come back!
Why is there no footage of anyone shredding this place to this day
