Ed, as a Viper owner I promise you that you can fit. You can get a 1" seat lowering kit (that still allows the seat to slide) or a 2" sest lowering kit that keeps the seat in a fixed position of your choosing. It's highly worth it to enjoy the viper experience. I can even tell you of a trusted parts dealer in the Viper world that sells the kit. It is made for the viper and isn't some jankey universal mount. Come to the dark side! We have side pipes!!!!!!
This mans wants to buy a CCX and CGT for less than 100k. If he gets one, if would be quite amazing, and probably destroyed, but if it drives, who cares...lol
I'm glad I sold my ACR, it's good thing you don't fit. Sexy as anything but the snap oversteer is just plain unsafe. It's like having a pet lion all fun and games until it's not.
That's the problem with relying on so much mechanical grip. Its there until it isn't. With the ACR you have to be going fast enough for the downforce to do its job.
As funny as this is, it has an air of truth. Once people find out you have money, you buy cars, and you sell them for profit; they suddenly want full book value for stuff. I have a Ducati for sale, need a sport bike!? lol

These car stories reignited my passion for broken bastard cars. Unfortunately, the market here in northern Indiana is quite small. I was, however, lucky enough to score a 2001 Jaguar XJR last weekend. It had been sitting over a year, was covered in pine needles and sap, every warning light on the dash was on, and it wouldn’t shift. Beat the guy down to $900 and drove it an hour home unable to exceed 30mph. Had the electrical gremlins sorted out in a few hours, and it’s quite a runner. A few odds and ends are on order, but nothing major. Nothing like a supercharged jag for under a grand!
Samuel Khoo Physically easier, yes. Financially easier... $500,000-$600,000 is still very difficult for most people, and that’s likely an estimate that can’t be avoided. The engine (and maybe the transmission) are structural components of that car, so removing them might be a bit of a chore. I was guessing that if the Veyron project were to be taken on and the engine was fine, it might only cost $250,000-$300,000 to source any used parts they can to finish it, along with tires, wheels, etc. Anyways, that’s just my opinion. Right or wrong, I don’t know for sure. What I am sure of is that I would rather own the Koenigsegg.
The painted Murci looks amazing. They've been my favourite cars since I was 4, and looking at them, hearing them even now, there still isn't anything that comes close.
That Verde Draco isn stunningly classy. Very well done Ed. I'm only 6ft 1 but found my Lotus Exige 350 Sport the most comfortable daily I've had so far!
Dang Ed, you took me for a walk down memory lane for a minute there. I’m a North Atlanta native myself, same age as you, and I remember picking up those print version auto traders as a kid from the front room of a Publix and drooling over C4 Corvettes, Foxbody Mustangs, DeTomaso Panteras, and the occasional exotic. Always had to save up allowance or lawn mowing money to get ahold of a DuPont Registry to see the true exotics, Diablos, F355’s, 993 and 996 Turbo’s, etc. Ah, those were the days man.
I've always loved the Murcialago. Its not just one of my favourite Lamborghinis, its one of my all time favourite automobiles full stop. But Ed's LP640 in that colour is on another level. I think it suits the car so well, and just looks fantastic.
Ed, I just bought a car you would LOVE! 2006 MB S55 AMG with a salvage title from water damage that turned out to be a relatively low mile very well maintained car and everything works! No bad smells or anything. I practically stole it for under 6 grand (including the paperwork required to make it road legal here in PA). In the spring I’m heading down south to Boca Raton. I can stop by and tell my story if you’re interested.
I tried buying the Ferrari challenge car too. He told me a COMPLETLEY different story! Something like it was his dead fathers car. The guy was full of it and told me it was 1000HP , he seemed to not know anything about cars. And he too went up on the price , knowing the car had no title.

It’s amazing what one can purchase when you have cash in hand and a motivated seller. Ed has made that a science, sure you get lots of no’s but the occasional yes is where the gold is.
The italian job (2003) made me obsessed with the mini cooper. I was a teenager at the time and my parents owned a car dealership. I would talk about how cool the car was to my dad and he never had the heart to tell me that it was geometrically unlikely I'd enjoy those cars if I ever got to drive one.
