Touche bro... I miss the days as a young pup here in Australia back in '03, picked up NFL Fever 2003 in the discount basket of a local EB Games and was absolutely amazed by American Football... That was actually how I learned how the game was played! Don't get me started when I found ESPN NFL 2K4 with Warren Sapp's face on the cover, and the ultimate but bittersweet finale of ESPN NFL 2K5!!! We need those days of Fever and ESPN 2K... Madden's monopolistic run is long overdue..I boycotted Madden after Madden 08 and will absolutely refuse to purchase another after 3 years of hell from Madden 2005- Madden 08... Bring back 2K!!!!

The graphics are great, the animations are stiff and unnatural. Still lightyears ahead of the Madden 2004 on the GameCube that I grew up with
last madden i played was 18, watching 21 have the same animation and gameplay not improving for the better so funny

Madden, NBA 2K, NHL and the rest of sport games don't take advantage of the hardware until at least two versions in...which is why I never buy them at full retail which is now $70 and especially the first version of sport games on next gen because it's not that much big of a deal until editions later.

Those 30 FPS cutscenes are so jarring. It's pitiful that they're still halving the framerate during cutscenes even on next-gen consoles. It almost singlehandedly kills the presentation.

I have a trilogy simulation idea for you with the lions involving the three players whose careers they wasted. Add Calvin Johnson and Stafford to the best Lions team Barry Sanders played for. Add Barry Sanders to the 11-5 Lions team with Calvin and Stafford. And then add all three to the 0-16 team. Use the best version of themselves in each simulation.
Seen a sale and was interested since I haven’t played since 2018 and this shit hasn’t changed a lick. This is sad.

Here’s what I don’t understand: if I play the PS4 version on my ps5, it plays at 60fps. If I play the ps5 version on my ps5, it plays at a much lower framerate. What could cause this? I haven’t found one damn setting to be able to change inside the game regarding framerate.

Game looks the same, but the commentary is really good.
It's amazing how they are still using the animations from ps2. Same catch animations. Same tackling animations. Madden has to be the laziest Game ever. Every system that comes out it always takes them like three Madden's to start to get things right and then the next system is out.

Aside from the glitches, which every game has, it runs pretty smooth. The player movements are improved, at least to my eye.

This annoys me, I’ll just copy paste my last comment: number one, video won’t look the same when uploaded. Two, the benefit - the REAL benefit of ps5 is the SSD and actual playability of games. Most importantly with regards to fidelity anyhow - the ps5 won’t look like shi if you’re on some garbage ass 900 dollar tv (but it’s 75 inches tho! Eyeroll). Standard LED TVs just aren’t going to leverage ps5s tech. I’m willing to bet damn near anything most people don’t have an OLED or higher end tv with VRR to notice any tangible difference. Ps5 isn’t a magic box that can turn someone’s 2014 Samsung in to something that it isn’t. If people want to get the most out of the ps5 then they need to invest in a higher end tv.

Graphics are okay. With the power and creative leap in animation these days is somewhat disappointing. The announcing is pretty decent. And what's Nick Mullins doing in the Super Bow!? Sheesh.
