I would stroll through the Forgotten Castle on a solo cleric with proximity voip on singing about various 5e healing domain deities and offering aid to random players. I wouldn't loot a ton since anyone could gank me at any time, but I'd really consistently escape with 100+ gold and only die maybe 1/3 runs or less. I leveled up 3 clerics and they all ended up with stashes packed with good blues and purples and thousands upon thousands of gold. Plus, I got to help tons of other players! \o/ Praise be to Apollo, Lathander, Ilmater, Torm and Berronar Truesilver! Nice video! Hmm at 06:35 I think maybe the maul is prone to unlucky limb hits which (I think) reduces dmg? Either way it looks like the kung-fu master got some headshots in so that was probably the difference maker 😁

If you fight your cast is already ready if not you press F to cancel it
The barb survived three hits from the war maul because he got too close to you. You do way less damage hitting with the haft of a polearm, axe or mace. If you don't get them with the head of the weapon, it's practically no damage.
7:35 in this case you dealt a good amunt of damage with judgement since a warrior wearing only plate has like -30 magic resist, and could kill him with the judgement safely again, you took some hisk trying to trade hits when both of you was low but your CD of judgement was near conclusion, anyway was a good play.
Don't forget to buy both tops of health pots. They stack on top of each other. yes the 2nd tier pots are more expensive, but losing gear is even more costly.
I'd like them to change how the storm kills you at the end so you have a better window to take your spoils.. it's always madness at the end and I never get chance to loot everything lol
Naked Barb tanks 3 hits from blue warmaul... I fought a starting gear barb as a wizard yesterday and he took 2 direct fireball hits, 1 splash fireball and like 5 magic missiles to die :/
Anybody else get stuttering in this most recent playtest where you stick in place for a second randomly? Makes it unplayable for me right now unfortunately when this is a game about footsies and movement; I get hit by mummies because of it.
Not bad, my build is slightly different. For PvE 2nd floor loot goblin runs with my rogue friend i took the anti-undead AoE thing, he kites the whole room into a pack, I nuke them. For PvP i try to max movement, use a good quarterstaff and smite. Pre-combat cast shield and divine weapon on myself + smite which is extremely spammable. Nutty damage while staying light on your feet. Judgement is nice but sitting still while casting it is too risky against good players.
6:35 basically, you alike me failed to realise dealing damage to anything than the head on a barbarian with 130 base life points is worthless on a 1v1 and probably you would still die anyway if he crouched one atack since the war mauld horizontal line is easier to crouch when the enemy aim for the head.

spellbooks have been proven to be the fastest item to cast spells
Spellbooks cast the same speed as every other spell item, but you run faster with spellbook compared to any other spell item

Rogues, rangers and wizards tend to run naked to increase their move speed since their amor gives basically no protection and only slow you down.

6:45 he was able to survive those war maul hits because you hit him with the handle rather than with the hammer head. The handle does far less damage.

He had the 100 magic resist perk. Thats 30% magic resist
+100 magic resistance perk. yup barb has BY FAR the best and strongest perk options in the game
