Good day Alfred , it's Riaan from South Africa! Love your knowledge about all the teams and players!! You are very well spoken! Carry on the awesome work!!!
The AB's have some crazy talented backline players, and some brilliant options in the forwards, will be interesting to see what game plan Robertson employs and whether it will be similar to what made the Crusaders under him one of the best club rugby teams of all time
It has been 8 years since Ireland toured South Africa, they did get a win at Cape Town on that tour, ultimately going down 2-1 in the series, since then the Boks have been playing away games, we look forward to this tour as it's been a long time coming, good luck to all and may there be zero injuries, Go Bokke 🎉
South Africa have lost 8 of the last 12 v Ireland. Nearly as bad as the plus 70% they lose against New Zealand since uncle gert stopped blowing the whistle for you after 1976.
All Blacks in a very difficult situation which I don't understand you didn't mentioned. The AB'S haven't play together as a team since the RWC, 6/7 months ago, lots of new players, a new coach and they have ONLY two weeks to get ready. Not even a test match before England for the team to gel together. Not even an exibition game to ...
The majority of the team is still comprised of the RWC squad, and even those ABs that didn't make the 2023 squad still have experience playing with the others. On top of that a lot of the uncapped players are fortunately from positions where they play with the pre-existing ABs at club level. So yes, while they haven't had a chance to gel together, it's not as dire as you're making it out to be.
Irish fan here ,hoping we can catch the Bok out because they have only played one match together. But what a team , come on Ireland I also think England and New Zealand will be very close
Don't write off Warren's Wales... Even with how things look I fancy them to get a win down under. From an Irish man who has learned not to doubt Garland over the years
Given Glasgow's success and Scotland looking on the up, it's a bit of a shame they don't have a series in Australia or Argentina for example. Could have been a good time to do something historic
No question on 10 for Ireland. It will be Jack Crowley and while JGP is a huge loss having Crowley and Casey playing together is not a bad shout considering how well they know each other from Munster.
I love Marcus Smith, if he performs well in New Zealand, we will know he is class. But I don't think he knows how New Zealand loose forwards and centres tackle, if they get to him, he will suffer a crisis of confidence.
ABs finally have a talismanic man manager who has surrounded himself with exceptional coaches. The ABs are about to go on an absolute tear. And England are first on the chopping block. The boys were poor last year but still only lost the WC by a point. Boks still the benchmark followed by France then ABs.
Boks won by 1 point against 14 men and have been absolutely dominated by nz in the pro Era at club and test level. France look totally dependent on dupont and have never sustained a competitive team for long periods
I think that is what people in nz are expecting and I feel it too. Absolute demolition coming up. Only going to get better when roigard and will jordan are back
NZs potential bomb squad for the future some scary power could be coming off the bench 16. Taukeaho (120kg) 17. Toosi (140kg) 18. Williams (140kg) 19. Tuipolotu (120kg) 20. Finau. (115kg) 21. Sititi (115kg)
If only Ben Earl had played & had more experience, skillset at playing at 12 - & keep him there- in order to have Cunningham-South , Underhill & Tom Curry all playing on the field at the same time from the start 🤞🤔
Best performance since 2019 semi? Dont forget we won the six nations and autumn nations cup in 2020. Ireland and Wales at home in 2020 were much more comprihensive wins. Then 2021 hit, we had a covid effected campaign. Then we introduced Freddie Steward who completely killed our attack and we stunk the place out ever since. Until coincidentally we looked way better in back end of 2024 six nations when we dropped him
nah he is right even though England won everything in 2020, they were miles away from their performance in WC 2019. While I would not go as far as calling England wins that year fraudulent (unlike Wales in 2021 lol), it wasn't as decisive as the previous years thats for sure since they barely won both titles vs. France.
@@davidwakefield4461 I totally agree with you yeah. At that time, Eddie Jones wasn't entirely out of touch with your team yet. As of now, the english team in 2020 would wipe the floor with the current one and would have certainly won against the saffas in the semis last year.
So Ireland win a second 6 nations, England finished 3rd beating Ireland with a last second drop kick got hammered by Scotland and lost to a completely kamikaze french team and from this you deduct England could win and Ireland will be beaten easily . I think there is more over confidence once again in players who are still unproven like smith who has not proven himself apart from glimpses of good play and equally plenty of bad play. I’m really confused where you get these jaundiced analysis from, but hey let’s see how it all works out.

Scotland like Italy are on the ascent
Scotland are plucky losers, they have to shake that mentality.
Thanks for your content really enjoy it Alfred
Kiwi here. Good review, straight forward.

Cheers from Durban, South Africa
Theres no confusion on fly half mate its jack crowley byrne is not up to it.
Byrne wasn’t even selected to go
Can't see Ireland beating SA especially now our clubs have not being firing this year especially leinster and munster backbone of Ireland
There’s zero uncertainty as to who plays 10 for Ireland. It’s absolutely Crowley

I believe te Boks will be ready for Ireland, and the All Blacks will dominate England, by 25 points.

@@Metal0maniac98 I get that, but our 2020 side would have beaten our 2024 six natioms campaign side with ease i think

The Boks are World Champions for a reason
More like winter tours
oof...im afraid its going to be 3/0 to the sh
(oh and scotland will win as well)
Wales and England to win...
I highly doubt england will win. They'll lose both, first one by 50 and second more like by 30
I'm never wrong
@@robertwood6297good luck with that
Wales might, England, not so much
