      @ameliawilder28 11 місяців тому +8

      But what's wrong with that? Maybe you wouldn't say it to your spouse, but there is nothing wrong with thinking other people are attractive. He just thinks there is competition because Deacon is in their lives. People who are not confident in their relationships would probably be pissed. I honestly wouldn't care. If they start cheating and whatnot then it becomes a problem. But if they still love me the same way, then there is nothing to worry about. Wouldn't she have left him a long time ago if she liked Deacon the way Doug thinks? This is all a classic case of overreacting.

    • @TheJoeE71
      @TheJoeE71 11 місяців тому +8

      The point is to not wait until cheating for it to be a problem. It has nothing with being, "confident" in your relationship and more to do with expecting full fidelity. That's not asking much in what's supposed to be a committed relationship.

      @@ameliawilder28 it’s interesting to me when I read other opinions that are completely different to my own.
      One of the principles of being in a relationship with someone is you don’t say certain things and another principle is you don’t view close friends of your partner as attractive. You might be naturally attracted to a person but that doesn’t mean you categorize them in your mind when you think of people that are attractive and you don’t mention their name in any list of people you’re attracted to either. It’s common courtesy as well.
      You probably practice this already in your life though. If your friend asked you what girls you think are attractive, would you say his sister’s name? Or his cousin? Or mother? Or aunt?
      Your opinion sounds theoretical and not based off experience so I hope you never have to face this happening to you.
      And as another poster already commented, good luck to Doug if he done this to Carrie. In another episode Carrie couldn’t handle another woman cooking food for Doug, how do you think she would handle a declaration of Doug’s attraction towards her best friend?
      Edit: sorry just realized you might be a girl. Just replace girl with guy in the examples.

    In Islam, the concept of indecency is viewed as a violation of the teachings and principles of the religion. Islam promotes modesty, dignity, and moral conduct in various aspects of life, including personal behavior, dress, speech, and interactions between individuals. There are several verses in the Quran and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that address the issue of indecency and provide guidance on how to avoid it.
    1. Modesty in Dress: Islam encourages both men and women to dress modestly. For women, this generally involves covering the body with loose-fitting clothing and wearing a headscarf (hijab) or other forms of modest attire. Men are also advised to dress modestly and avoid revealing or tight clothing.
    2. Lowering the Gaze: Muslims are encouraged to lower their gaze and avoid staring at others inappropriately. This applies to both men and women and is aimed at promoting respect, modesty, and guarding against immoral thoughts.
    3. Prohibition of Adultery and Fornication: Islam strictly prohibits any form of sexual relations outside of marriage. Adultery and fornication are considered grave sins and are condemned. The Quran emphasizes the importance of chastity and faithfulness within the marital relationship.
    4. Prohibition of Obscene Speech: Islam discourages the use of vulgar or indecent language. Muslims are encouraged to speak respectfully, avoid obscenities, and use words that promote kindness and good manners.
    5. Avoiding Promiscuity: Islam encourages individuals to avoid situations and behaviors that may lead to indecency or immoral actions. This includes avoiding excessive mixing of unrelated men and women, as well as avoiding places and activities that may encourage immoral behavior.
    It's important to note that interpretations and practices may vary among different Islamic communities and cultures. Islamic teachings emphasize the importance of personal responsibility, self-discipline, and avoiding actions that may lead to indecency or moral corruption. Muslims strive to uphold these values while promoting a society that is morally upright and respectful in its behavior and interactions.

      No one cares dude. While i respect the tenants and values of what you believe in, its unfortunate how many of your faith tend to sway towards extremism totally undermining its totality as a respectable religion. • @BeTruthful123

      @davidtronsgard Well, you are wrong, my friend. I live in the U.S. Here, if you commit a treason, you will get death or life in prison or commit a murder, again life in prison or death sentence. It's very harsh to be punished while I am free and a human being. See, you accept man-made constitution, but then you are against Allah Almighty constitution. Islam says cut a thief hand who steals for living and not forced by hunger while man-made laws are different in different regions. An example would be in California, a life in prison if you had a previous conviction. In my country, here in the U.S., half of the population are un married, and the other half that is married will likely half will end in divorce because of man-made laws that allow free mingling with Alcohol involved. I was taught and studied U.S constitution but everyone is against Allah’s constitution because it makes society toward the straight path and happiness, but why would politicians and corporations allow society to be happy and united. Your comment is good against today's Christians but is absolutely brainwashed with a comment against Islam. If you have any dignity whatsoever, then you go pick up a copy of the Quran and research Islam through unbiased sources and then come to your own conclusions. The British people praise Churchill a lot, but how have you ever studied Churchill atrocities he committed against other Europeans and Muslims and Indians. We humans don't see through both sides but only our own point of view. If you have any specific thing you want to know, either search yourself or comment back to me.
