Ive watched a lot of kaiju battles. Ive watched a lot of fights with destruction all around them. This is One of the best fights Ive ever seen with both. Supremely Awesome Work!! Absolute God Tier in my book.
Wow!! If the anime Mechagodzilla had looked and sounded anything like this in the movie, it would have been exciting to see for sure. While I still like the concept of Mechagodzilla City, it has no sense of character which hurts it in the long run.
This was a REALLY good movie. I am 50 years ongoing in this body, and I grew up watching Godzilla, Spectre Man, Ultra Man, Grandizer, Goldar, G-Force, Gamera, Tranzor Z, Star Vengers and of course Voltron.
I absolutely love the design of Jr. He looks like a complete collection of Godzilla 1954, Late Heisei Godzilla, and a bit of millennium. Also the atomic breath turning white is probably my new favorite thing. I wish we could see more of this incarnation
Mwchagodzilla has a lot of guns. And I mean a lot. Turrets, missile launchers, head cannon, sawblade tail, giant lance, and wristblades just makes Mechagodzilla City one of the most badass and op Mechagodzilla incarnations of all time.

Can we just take a second to appreciate this guy for literally just wanting to make a fan animation and then going all the way to working on the model for Shin Godzilla. Seriously thats like a 3d designers dream/miracle right there, keep up the amazing work man.

While I did enjoy the movie that we got, City on the Edge of Battle couldve definitely been a whole lot better in terms of kaiju action. what sir (or madam) have done is make one of the best fan animations that Ive seen, it feels wonderful that there are people out there who care about the franchise this much to create spectacular fan animations like this. I like to imagine that like, every couple years mechagodzilla city builds a new mecha to attempt to fight the godzillas, and each time it does better and better, getting drestroyed and taking the data for the next time it has enough nanometal to make a new mecha

I like the way Godzilla Earth just takes everything sent it’s way, kinda makes sense giving its ginormous size and biology but it’s pretty badass
