I love(d) watching "Tic Tac Dough" episodes from September 1978 to June 1984. That's where it should've stopped. But it was still doing okay in the ratings until some dude named Merv Griffin prevented Barry and Enright from doing (any) better.
Tic Tac Dough Season Two from 1980. Here's Champion Thom Mckee 1st car win🚗 total of 💲26,600 in cash and prizes!! Plus, beating the 🐉in Bonus Game and total of $30,450 dollars after winning new car.
Nowadays, it would probably be politically incorrect to ask the player if they are married. Wink asked some *very* personal questions. I was cringing as a spectator. Cannot imagine how the contestant felt.
You're just too damn sensitive. Times were different then, and sometimes engaging people in a cordial manner involving hugs and kisses were socially acceptable practices dating back decades prior.
@arthuridis some of the contestants were clearly uncomfortable. It wasnt just a "different time". He overstepped, just like Richard Dawson kissing all the woman. Like, seriously? The man must have been a walking herpes. 😂
Such a beautiful couple🍁🍁🙂🍁🍁🙂🍁🙂🍁
Thom was the most dominant champion 🏆 on Tic Tac Dough.
My Favorite Wink Martindale Game Shows are TIC TAC DOUGH, HIGH ROLLERS, and TRIVIAL PURSUIT
Same here!
Out of all the versions of tic tac dough no one did it be better than wink Martindale 👍😃
No one came close!

Before Ken Jennings' run on "Jeopardy!", there was Thom McKee's run on "Tic Tac Dough".

Announcer Bob Hilton would years later audition to be the new permanent announcer position on The Price Is Right.
That was Thom's first Buick Century won on this edition. A mid-size luxury car, nonetheless.
Joker had a champion who looked like Eddie Mekka (aka Carmine Ragusa). This episode, Thom's challenger Aaron looked like Dabney Coleman.
If Aaron had said Henry Blake, they probably would have accepted it for the character name McLean Stevenson played on “M*A*S*H.”
I believe for a few seasons TTD was taped at CBS TV City
Another game 🎮 host was in a commercial from this show Dick Clark.
One of my favorites!
cute. tic tac and tom
He and Jenny won.
The Dragon can burn hamburgers

What if the contestant say "No hugs. Just a handshake!"

@@meehow72 Oh get the fuck over yourself. It really was a very different time.
Peter du brise tic tac dough biggest winner the Ken jennings of his time
Wink would have been fired at 1:06
HR would be quite busy!
Yeah, that was a cringeworthy moment 😖😖😖
And his wife, Sandy, would've dropped him!
that surprised me when Wink did that
dragon slayer
Tic Tac Dough was cool for the first six seasons. The last two were sort of 😕👎🏾...not that great.
Wink seemed to be a little obnoxious on this show. Did nit care for somecof his comments.
