"Drum Roll Please"! Terrific build Tim! 👏👏🥁🥁
"Badda-bing, badda-boom!"
This is a fun piece that is a lovely tribute to some well used drumsticks. I hope the client was happy with the result. And I love the song you played in the second half. A sentimental song to go with a sentimental piece of art. Thanks for sharing!
loving that drum side table at the end!
Classic Sway. I love that you called the Sqwayre an instrument.
That was very relaxing to watch, satisfying and interesting. Fascinating how much work goes into a handmade piece like this!
Cheers. There's a lot of time spent measuring, as we've been learning together :)
Interesting, I've never been sentimental about firewood. Nice video ❤
Great video, Tim. Cool piece. Mahalo for sharing! 🙂🙏❤️
I enjoyed that video. Thanks for making it.
sentimental drum sticks: "that was such a moving groove, son..."
😅sorry, couldn't resist
This is the most relaxing tool ad I've ever watched!
It (SqWAYre) was supposed (SqWAYre) to be (SqWAYre) subliminal! (SqWAYreTools.com)
That's pretty damn cool dude
Nicely done. You're inspiring me to keep my firewood from burning it ;) Some pieces I throw in the fireplace, feel like they should be preserved for some woodworking project, and I feel bad.
Oh yea, I find some real beautiful stuff in the firewood sometimes :)
I miss your podcast Tim. ❤
It was a good show, but lord knows the world has enough podcasts! Ours ran its course.
@@timsway the world do have a lot of podcasts. But good podcasts aren't that easy to come by. 😅
I had to do similar with some of my sentimental drumsticks recently. They said that they no longer felt able to hit the drums, as they had become very close friends. My new drumsticks are distinctly unsentimental and seem to want me to hit harder.
I can hear the laughing @3:45
That laughter didn't always come naturally. When I was a young man, I would lose my cool when things like that happened, get all mad, swear, slam things around. Inevitably my "tilting" would always make the situation worse and last longer, compound...
Somewhere in my 30s I whacked myself in the man parts in a fairly comical way. I was alone and it hurt like hell but I just had to laugh at myself, which, inevitably made a bad situation feel better and dissolve faster. I learned this approach to life's "less desirable" moments and never looked back.
Was that your song you were singing as background music. It was good and the lyrics quite amusing 😊😊😊
Yes, all the music was me, recorded on hollow core door instruments, of course :)
Tim...have you broken the CNC??? That's why this last month you have joined us mear mortal makers back with the hand and power tools...
It's OK, this is a safe place my friend, you can tell us... 😂
LOL. No, it's fine. I'm just trying to create some different content than my usual guitar builds that all basically follow the same script :)
