- The CV 90105 in War Thunder is a Swedish Light Tank that got some SERIOUS BUFF in the last patch!
The CV90105 was recently replaced with this thing! It's a Premium Light Tank that has a 105mm that can fire DM33! The scope is x10 zoom and has generation 3 Thermals making it one of the best sniper tanks in War Thunder.
The CV90105 is FAST, it's got great gun handling and it also has a 5 second reload thanks to its very modern autoloader.

Do you recall which video it was where you shot the PE-8 with the Firefly?
The reason why it showed no one having died is the person you killed left the game and they got replaced by PTU_POLICE. Weird the enemy team lost no tickets though.
please play the T-28e and the T-80 in the USSR 2.3br , it is great fun and you have no videos on both tanks (89th try)

This thing is an absolute sniper! The autoloader and commander's sight make it so versatile for pre-evaluating your visual range before moving up, firing 1 or 2 shells and swiftly reversing back into cover.

Before the Maginot map got reduced to its current form, there was a spot where one could shoot above 3km. So back in the day, I had my personal challenge to snipe over 3km with the lowest br tank. Long 88 is awesome I was able to land 3 kills in one match from time to time. That's 5.3 Nashorn. Next was pak42, so 4.3 with premium Pz4/70. I eventually lost interest, but sniping over 3.1km with a 4.3 tank in regular battle is quite an accomplishment.
I think the longest shot I've had was on the Kursk map (cant remember what they have renamed it to), I think it was right around 3km in a charioteer.
i managed to get a 2.3Km kill once with the AVRE. it took me like 18 rounds to get the kill but the guy wasnt moving away from his position(driving back and fourth(my guess)) because he probably thought it was regular artillary lol
I‘ve got also 3 kills on the eastern europe map with the long 88‘s and 1 kill with the jagtiger. I‘ve killed them at a distance of atleast 2,6km.
Large Maginot is still in the game and still appears in the matchmaker.

I just got PRadesh for the first time today and I absolutely love it so far, large open fields to check for brain cells, great visibility ridgelines for snipers, weaving valleys for the COD players and for the first time we can have a map with reasonable combat range for tanks instead of the usual urban knifefight in a phonebooth. I did not expect I'd ever praise snail for any map yet here I am

Red desert had some rad sniping lines. I remember a bunch of 3.5km shots from the slopes behind the spawns. When gajoob would bless me with actually rendering the enemy anyhow :p

I did a 2050 meters kill ont this map too with a Jagdpanzer IV (70) on a Jumbo (from the side)
It was weird because it seemed like my shots was going through some rocks or these rocks was clipping idk, rendering at far distances is unreliable sometimes

I've made once a 2 200 meters shot on a desert map (Sands of Sinai) with a proxy fused shell in the AuF-1 against an open-top'ed TD (it was the one which fires TOW missiles, I can't remember the name). The overpressure of the shell destroyed his tank without even touching it. The guy was furious 😂.
To be fair, that was the only time I didn't get trolled by this PF shell. Most of the time it only works for planes but not for ground things, as even the weakest grass or leaf will make it trigger for no reason.
I’ve noticed on the new tank map that more people than usual leave after one death/leave at the beginning of the match. I’ve only played it one time so far, and it didn’t seem _that_ bad…

its probably because alot of people dont know it yet and dont want to keep getting killed by people who DO know it from the test servers. Sadly Custom battle AI doesnt do good for training.
People just don't like new maps they don't know, I guess. :< I've yet to get to explore it proper because it ends too quickly
I've left a couple of games on it when the games has been small teams 8v8 etc. After I spent an entire game driving around not finding a single enemy I just figured it's much better with large teams. Especially with high br premiums leaving after getting killed in their 1 tank line-up.
@@NainakaiAyita people should be able to play whatever BR and lineup they want. Gaijin can very easily help reduce 1-death leaving but they refuse to.
Giving small lineups a system like the Israeli M-51 has, where it can be spawned multiple times as if you have backups for it would solve that issue. It would also help with stock grinding.
Reducing repair costs in a standardized way so you aren't discouraged to spawn again with an asinine repair cost would also help ALOT.
Regardless there will still always be people who leave after 1 death if they are on a map they hate or in a night battle. That is an issue of it's own when it comes to Gaijins absolutely horrendous map design
This thing is insane! Its part of my insanely fun 10.0 Sweden line-up. It holds its own very well in slight uptiers, but the round will struggle a bit in 11.0.

Running German 10.0 lineup but this vehicle is an utter disappointment! I watch these streamers and they run around untouched all match it’s like they paid off the enemy team, I would pay for 8 premiums just to have one or two decent matches like video above! People eat my dm33 no problem then sneeze my direction and I die! I scout I don’t even get my scout assists and points anymore which I don’t get, this vehicle is honestly not as good as people it look to be.

Maybe you'll have more fun with the higher BR techtree version when u unlock it? The round from that tank is better then the round this one gets acces too. Same sneaky playstyle though ;-). GLHF

I think it’s pretty crazy that the CV901 is an advanced AFV that was used widely by Sweden, yet the optic still doesn’t surpass a 1950’s tank destroyer- the Pvkv II with a 15.9x scope.
2.7km snipe is my furthest in thr Israeli AMX-13! I couldn't see the guy, but just shot onto the C cap on thr big version of European province and killed a German RU 251. Bliss
My Dream: Massive 10km by 10km maps with spawn points at either end, AND, around the maps in 'Fronts'. At the start AI targets are littered around the maps in camps ( that 1 or two real players at MAX can spawn into) for you to take and destroy was you work your way toward the enemy line.
Won't happen because that's less fun than capturing the same 3 bomb circles that make 0 sense))))

My longest tank on tank kill was om Red Desert with a T-72A that shred a Leo that was 4,1 km away.
I found a spot, when map was still new, that was behind the north eastern spawn.
It isn't a very good position anymore but it sometimes get people of guard when map was still new and the bad quality of thermals/targeting speed/lack of CITV concealed me pretty well.
Russian tanks could even hulldown a bit.
I have actually done an even further snipe around 2700m with tiger II H one year ago on red desert map, I was on c or a (can't remember) it is the side of 2 small hills (4 if you count both sides) and the American t34 was on the other side with the big hill on the edge of the map. It took me 10+ shots to kill him but it was glorious!
Edit: looking at the map right now in a custom game it might have been even longer snipe around 3000m if not more without a laser range finder am pretty proud of it :D
This post made me suddenly remember an absolutely insane shot I got like 3 years ago. I've been searching frantically through my Nvidia highlights to see if it still exists but I think it's too far out now. I was using the American t34 and got a double kill at just over 3000m. It was on fire arch and I damn near threw my chair and did a stanky leg I was so happy.

In my opinion (1500hrs), the ground RB spawns need stationary emplacements manned by AI with anti-tank and infantry weaponry. This would give the team fighting in their own spawn an advantage over spawn campers instead of the other way around. The map reveal function just doesnt do enough, and when the whole enemy team is looking at your spawn youve already lost, even if the tickets are still full. Its nuts!
Maybe if you're in the losing team gaijin can just give everyone a free nuke so you can win, too? :)

So I play everyday. I play about 2-4 hours. I STILL HAVE NOT PLAYED THIS MAP. You would think GAIJIN would throw it in the rotation once in awhile. Also I hit a 2.8 k snipe on Red Desert with the Nashorn once. I still have no clue how but that IS2 imploded.
when the ikv dropped with its laser rangefinder I dunked on someone on that mars desert map corner to corner and the heat-fs came down on that tank almost straight down lol.

Thing is vastly superior to the AGS and CCVL and yet is a lower BR.
The AGS can sit hull down and not even risk dying while firing on enemies, therefore I think it's warranted.
@@DogMan077 True however trying to snipe in it while taking advantage of said hull down position sucks considering its lack of zoom, especially compared to the CV90105.
@@DogMan077 worse optics, first gen thermals and a much shittier dart. Plus I've been killed quite a bit when ppl are actually smart and bring HE and I've killed plenty of AGSs with HE.
my longest every document kill on warthunder was on fields of poland and it was 2600 meters no laser range finder
Reminds me of trying Sweden and being starstruck at the insane penetration and raising my barrel a few degrees but sniping people 1000s of meters away lol. Sweden is a really fun nation!

Aww man... I remember when I could do long range shots in War Thunder too. Good times at 4.7 Germany. And 6.3 was still fun with the Jagdpanthers.
I remember; it was Maginot and that KV must have seen the 7.5 cm round flying at it for a few seconds, but just accepted fate.
You'd love the charioteer at 6.3 with the APDS, it has virtually no bullet drop
Yeah, though it's got no lineup. Best chance really is to take it up to the meme of 6.7 with the battlebus, doom barn, and tortoise as a somewhat normal tank compared to the others lol

Ive only got the new map 1 time so far. Liked it because sniping but i need to play it more to get a feel
Key people need to learn form this video that stood out to me is, PAY ATTENTION! to the map and what your teammates are doing. So often people are close and could help but are blind to whats going on around them. Or i'll be working on someone hiding and they drive right behind them and never notice.

There's something wrong with this thing, the cannon feels more effective than my other DM33 tanks. Add that to the agility and 10 self loader and it just becomes a mad lad.

My longest range kill was ironically in the 15cm Sturmpanzer at 1.0 where I got a 1600m kill. All it took was 8 shots and a very unaware stationary enemy

For WT I'm playing a game where I drink one shot every time I see a tech tree vehicle in top-high tier rbgf, and it has significantly brought down my alcohol consumption, to well below the average citizen of my country.
My most memorable snipe was a quick scope on a ka50 from 7km away, before the laser rangefinder would auto adjust the sight for you
I think my long range kill is 2400 - 2300 meeters with king tiger, killing G6, tooks me 2-4 shot before i finally hit him

I still remember mine. A cheeky 2.5 km kill on an AVRE on Red Desert from my Maus. Although I did get shot dropped like 10 secs later by a IS-2 :(

Feels like the CV90105 has been nerfed a bit.
Tried to take out the tracks on a tank at about 75m because he was peaking and I needed to repair.
The DM33 did not take out the tracks at all. Turms at an angle is also a non-pen most of the time.
But it's still good for sniping even though leo2 will take you out since it's an equal good sniper but with more armor.

The reason the guy isn't showing up as dead in the scoreboard by 9:20 feels like a ragequit or something, his name isn't even visible there
I don't think you've used your commanders sight, it also has 3rd gen thermals, and nice wide FOV when not zoomed in.

Playing with and against the CV90105 is interesting. Yes, it has a lot of advantages, but as long as you're paying attention, its not a challenge to kill. At the same token, it's an incredibly strong tank with great capability. Now, I'm still biased towards the HSTV-L's 1.5s 27 round autoloader, but I just have to respect the swedish monster

the new map is fuckig awesome imo... its 3 dimenional... with small gaps and different ways to get a good shot or cover most of the time... i really want to see more like that, and even bigger
the location also just looks visually interesting, not something that can be said about a lot of warthunder maps
