I finally managed to get this video done for Halloween. My plan was actually to get it done for Halloween 2021, but that didn’t work out. I couldn’t finish it for 2022 either. But finally, here it is.
I’m surprised that I could match the lyrics to the scenes so well.

I love this amv but I have a question am I the only one who sees this a sipirtual sequel to Batman year one and a prequel to the Dark Knight returns parts 1 and 2

Well first thank you. And I see it as a stand alone, but it probably could be yes :D
Well, it does feel like a sequel and it is since this takes place early in Batman’s career

You did it!!! You had made a much shorter version a couple years ago if I'm not mistaken (for a "vote for the next one" IIRC? Could be wrong...), and I was super pumped about a full length MV with footage from *The Long Halloween* ...
It was somewhere in the back of my head, as a "I hope she does it some day"
And you pulled it off wonderfully!
I adored this adaptation of Jeph Loeb's magnum opus (when it comes to Batman at least), I even enjoyed all the little changes they made to the story, it made me feel like I was experiencing this tale for the first time...
(same reason why I wasn't as angry with the adaptation of *"Hush"* as most people seemed to be)
Sadly with all these changes it also means we won't be able to have an adaptation of *"Dark Victory"* in the Tomorrowverse , or one that would be soooo different that it would be a whole other story.
Ok, one more replay and I go to bed ^^

This was surprisingly well matched I gotta say! The way you managed to make "I am" work with each villain is crazy! Especially loved 1:36 with how perfect and unsettlingly well that worked for Two-Face. I also like how Batman is "Jack" here because it reminds me of Death of the Family where Joker called him a "King" while messing with him in Arkham Asylum.
Also, like how just like the movie, Two-Face and the villains overshadow the actual villain that is the Holiday Killer throughout the video, and you sort of forget that up until the end where the killer is revealed. Def a nice touch if that wasn't intentional.
Overall awesome video and tribute to the 2 parter here!

And to be honest, I forgot about Holiday until the end and I was like: "Oh shit I forgot her" XDD So I put her to the end 🤣😂
