Yes, I saw the whole movie. The video literally starts saying "Full reaction on Patreon" meaning I can't upload it to UA-cam, but I did watch the movie in full. 🤣🤪
I love how Bedevere has to physically examine the "nose" to determine that it's not real, and how she never takes the thing off until they put her on the scales.
For subtle ridiculousness, the knight keeps lifting the visor on his helmet to see clearly. Even though its open design wouldn’t impede his sight in anyway, even if he left it down!
The holy Grail has some really funny moments but Life of Brian is still the my fav Python film. Btw not sure if you noticed because you didn't comment on it, but the 'witch' having weighed the same as the duck, says 'fair cop' as in, well you got me red handed, so she really was a witch :D
A bit of historical and social context for this scene. It is interesting to observe that in small villages, such as those depicted here, the belief that everyone looked out for each other is quite mistaken. In fact, if a woman was widowed or unmarried, simply because she lived alone or had a close friendship with other women, she might be suspected of witchcraft. Particularly if bad things befell livestock or crops, or illnesses, etc. Anything the villagers couldn't see was suspect, and those widows and others whose whereabouts they couldn't account for were the prime suspects. And yes, they pretty much applied the kind of bizarre logic you see here, with little exaggeration. You think *we* have conspiracy theories? Theirs were completely out of control lol.
Oh Mandy, you really need to watch the whole movie. My favourite part is the French taunting. Python Movies are full of "Pythonalities". Completely mental.
One problem with watching film clips out of context is missed references. You laughed hard at the pigeon & coconut - but it is so much funnier if you have heard the earlier discussion about birds and coconuts and why there was a coconut in medieval England in the first place + what they use them for ... see 1:47
I find it a little sad that you only react to these little snippets, this movie is fantastic and deserves to be watched as a whole, there are a lot of movie reactions on YT to this one, I wish you'd do a full movie reaction like that. Without that these scenes are totally out of context and not as funny imo.
She did watch the entire movie. It's on her Patreon. This is just a clip from that reaction video. She did this a while back and I loved it. She has also reacted to Life of Brian, and lots lots lots more :)

What did you think of the full movie? Like the ending ?😂
@@dave_h_8742 Haha! In true Monty Python fashion.... very random! 🤣🤣🤣

At the end of the scene she turns to the camera says, "That's a fair a cop" which is English slang for "All right you've got me."
Bang to rights.

I’m very distantly related to Sir Not appearing in this film, obviously we are all immensely proud of him.
Nobody messes with the Chicken of Bristol.
........ apart from the Spanish Inquisition
Was that a person or just a chicken ?
A little known fact. The Witch is Polly from
Fawlty Towers as well as John Cleeses at the time wife.
Connie Booth!
@@MandyCaneLane Yes. Recognised her voice.
"i got better" 😂
Hi Mandy, the line you couldn't make out was "did you dress her up like this?"
I'm pretty sure the man with the shaving foam was Spike Milligan, no credits but if that is not him I'd be flabbergasted.
I’ve seen this film so many times that I can just listen to the audio and picture every scene in my head.
The guy with the shaving cream on his face was comedian /author /actor Spike Milligan who has a couple of cameo parts in the movie
I'll never get tired of your laugh 🙂
I think the reason Eric Idle bites that thing was to prevent himself from laughing.
...well...the willagers were gentlemens, they asked the wise man first...May they...

You should check out the ‘Kilimanjaro Expedition’ sketch.
Jesus Christ that hair dye washed out quick😂
Also didn't realise Polly was the witch
And the ahh at the cut off was perfect 😂
"Very small rocks!"
2:26 Eric Idle biting on his blade wasn't in the script. He was about to burst out laughing and potentially ruin a take.
The wise Sir Bedevere... the first of Arthur's Kerrrrniggets 🤣🤣🤣
He's saying "Dress " in an odd way❤.
You should do the whole movie. It's awesome!

Just a comment on the chanting monks with the planks in the beginning: The reference is much funnier if you're aware of penitents and flagellants.
Well, who isn't?

4:15. The scale isn’t equal. That, I think, is the point!😆🌿🌸
This kind of thing is happening today.

You've never been to Latvia. Their "night witches" (ragana nakts) are gorgeous.😍
Connie Booth was hot lucky old John Cleese.
You have to watch the bunny scene!!! 🐰❤

How come you never watched that Liam Neeson Ricky Gervais improv???
I never liked the last line..."it's a fair cop".
I prefer the similar line from another Monty P sketch ......... "It's a fair cop but society is to blame"
