JD McPherson - "I'm OKPOP!"

Singer-songwriter and guitarist JD McPherson, has been making waves in the music industry with his retro sound rooted in rock and roll, rockabilly, and rhythm and blues music of the 1950s
McPherson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and grew up on his family’s cattle ranch near the town of Talihina. He spoke with OKPOP recently about how a kid in a small town needs a place like OKPOP-to dream, to learn, to create.
