Someone mentioned, it would be preferable to add indicator lights on top of each filter knobs, of which I agree, the controller would have been so much closer to perfect..... What is your opinion, don't be scared to criticize...... Oh the other. The option for detail waveform horizontally display would have been complimentary

Great Video! Nice detail and easy to watch. I love the portability of the product. I have always been a pioneer guy but I think I will get this unit when I get some cash in. Maybe you can speak to your superiors and mention that we DJs want a standalone solution like this. And another product for home use is the 12” versions. Rane twelve with the Screen and USB ports so no need for a laptop ❤❤❤

The pitch bend is the best, AND HARDLY ANY PIONEERS HAVE THEM. I can't stand Pioneer if you can tell. Some of these apply to the FOUR with the new firmware update too, thanks for the tips.
@@bpmdjpro Weird thing is, everyone I know that uses it learned it on Denon CD mixers - which makes sense, that's what they had. However, I used to DJ vinyl and went dormant for 30 yrs but somehow I prefer the pitch bend over the platters now when I picked it up again.
I noticed the right jog wheel display screen resolution is different than the left one. I dont know if its the reflecting light but its more a like a yellow dim. I returned it to the store and did an exchange but the new one was doing the same. Their floor demo also had this issue. Can you address this?
The closest thing to that would be just saving your favorite FX on the 6 quick access buttons on the FX section, just select them by holding the FX select button and scrolling with the parameter knob and then long pressing the FX select button to save them.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but would definitely be a crazy amount of work and engineering. Plus, Serato probably wouldn't work correctly with a Frankenstein creation like that since it would be expecting a static controller (FOUR) and in reality getting a motorized version. Each unique product has a unique identifier for Serato that sends certain midi information to the software. In order to get the parts, you'd have to buy a PERFORMER, then gut it, then add the parts to the FOUR, to maybe get a new controller that kinda works like a PERFORMER, lol
Hmmm, good question. Not sure. The FX should be present in the recording if you are recording from the main out. You may be recording from a specific channel or channels instead of the main output on the FOUR?
Yes, you can turn the motors off by holding SHIFT and pressing the Slip Mode button, but then the top becomes pitch bend and will not work for scratching. Honestly, the RANE FOUR would be a better option for you if you don't want moving platters and you still want to scratch
I don't understand why I can't automatically jump to a saved loop via the pad rather than having to use shift, pioneer cdj don't need shift much more intuitive to jump between loops on the fly.
Hi Jake - are you able to confirm whether the Rane Twelve mkII is compatible with the performer for decks 3/4 in Serato? Will I run into any issues if I use one of my twelves as a third (or fourth) deck? Thanks!

Top feature 1 - all metal construction. 2 - booster clean sound by Numark. This is a big toy for adults. Not a plastic gadget for kids.

Pitch Bend is kinda one of those things you don't think you need, until you actually have it, then you LOVE it in my opinion.

I've never noticed this on any unit that I've seen, most likely this is due to viewing angle or lighting.

Yes, it's compatible with Windows, make sure you have installed the Driver from rane.com/downloads and that your running the latest version of Serato
