I am not very certain about that since German car show can obviusly be very biased but when I was watching a comparison with a demon here in germany, it seemed like the demon wouldn't nearly reach its " 9,6 something" 1/4 mile at all without the perfect hot slicks and sticky asphalt and whatever. The challenged it against a R8 on steroids which had similar 0-60 times on paper and it smoked the demon ( obviously that was a tuned car and what not, but the demon also didn't deliver its promised times.)

Why don't people realize this is a drag car? Yes, there are cars that are much much better on a racetrack, but that's not what this car is even remotely built for. I love and respect Astons and Ferraris for what they can do. However I also love and respect this car for what it can do. Why is it so hard to hold these thoughts simultaneously?

Who cares? There isn’t a road in the world where 180mph is realistically useable. American cars rule and are better than Euro junk. Only thing European cars from current times are only good for electrical gremlins and oil leaks. There is a reason we sent Peugeot, Fiat, Renault etc packing their bags. Fiat may be here now but not for long. Sales tanking due to low quality and very few models.

Correction Doug: The ECU is NOT reflashed, Mopar/SRT Provide a 2nd ECU in the crate along with the Special floor Jack, and front skinny tires. I worked for a Dodge Dealership for 6 years and was well trained on the Challenger Demon specifics. So you are incorrect about some of your " information". But I'll give you credit for your effort.
