Today is an EXTRA special day as I share our families annual tradition of Christmas in July! Grab a warm cup of hot cocoa and cozy up in your favorite blanket to feel all the Christmas vibes!☕️

🎄Wreath dessert recipe🎄
1 stick butter
30 large marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla extract
Green food coloring
Red m&ms or red hots (for berries)
4 1/2 cups corn flakes
Melt butter in pot (don’t let brown)
Add in marshmallows and stir until melted
Add vanilla extract & food coloring
Mix in 1/2 cornflakes at a time
Grab a small handful of mixture out of pot & form into a wreath. Add the m&ms right away so they stick

we've done this for years. my grammy brought the tradition over from uk. we use the time to write our christmas cards, pick what events we'll go to, figure what charities we'll support/work with, arrange for rides for elderly, check to see if our neighbors have some to spend christmas with, write christmas lists. we don't do presents but each child gets colouring book and of course we feast! it's tons of fun. and makes the holidays so much easier.

Decorating my house 🏡 with my family and friends, singing carols, opening presents 🎁 in the morning ☀️ while listening 👂 to my favorite ❤️ holiday songs 🎶, binge watching lots of holiday movies 🍿🎥 and specials, including my favorite ❤️ channel since I’m a HUGE fan of the Hallmark Channel and having lots and lots of fun 🤩 in the sun ☀️ at the beach 🏖️ with my family and friends! Those are awesome memories you are creating for your kids. They will remember those forever. I wish my family would have done the same and that UA-cam existed when my son was young. :) I would have so done the same as I love Christmas.
