***** So what, really? Hamill is treated as the definitive portrayal of the Joker in all media, regardless of the love for Ledger's Joker which typically comes from just the movie fans (I love him too, but I don't think he's the best). To be able to mimic him so closely is an incredible achievement and what fans wanted to see, to continue on this same Joker we're so used to hearing. In honesty, people would be complaining if he strayed from Hamill's Joker, so he can't win. Let's not forget given this is part of the Arkham series it wouldn't make sense to have a different Joker voice, but I think he's still brilliant either way.
Baker did so well it took me 3 ingame cutscenes to figure out it wasn’t Hamill in Origins. Then when i realised it his own persona really started to shine through
For all purposes..... Mr. Baker is The Joker. I don't know about the future, but for now, He is the best voice for the Clown Prince of crime. * Salute *

Shivers down my spine, man.
I didn't think I would ever say this but he recited that better than Mark Hamill in the killing Joke film. Much better
Troy baker and Cameron Monaghan are by far the most underrated jokers
There has to be a petition out there somewhere to cast this guy as the live-action Joker, right?
All he needs is green hair white face a very nice big smile and bam we got ourselves a joker
lol
Or give him long, blonde hair and revolvers, and the legend will come back alive (fans understands)
omg i would love a new batman movie with troy as the joker
yes please
Don't forget the red lipstick.
The Joker - Batman: The Killing Joke Monologue
Memory’s so treacherous.
One moment you’re lost in a carnival of delights, with poignant childhood aromas, the flashing neon of puberty, all that sentimental candy-floss ...
The next, it leads you somewhere you don’t want to go...
...somewhere dark and cold, filled with the damp, ambiguous shapes of things you’d hoped were forgotten..
Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes. Like children, I suppose. HAHA.
But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we cannot face them, we deny reason itself!
Although why not? We aren’t contractually tied down to rationality!
There is no sanity clause!
So when you find yourself locked onto an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember there’s always madness!
Madness is the emergency exit...
You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened. You can lock them away... FOREVER.
Ron Buzaglo same energy as those lyrics comments under music videos
Troy Baker is amazing at that voice, that was awesome. He, John DiMaggio and Mark Hamill are the three best voiceovers of the Joker
When he sits back after the monologue it's like he's thinking. "god I'm good"
Sounds so much like Mark Hamill..
Definitely shouldve been the Joker for the DC Cinematic Universe instead of Jared Leto.
Leto is a better actor
Troy is a voice actor not much of a live action actor
Sjono he is very good in live acting too. Look at behind the scenes of Last of Us for example, dude is fantastic.
@@BillyBob-rd6jg No, he's trash.
@@MrDeadlySmile The fuck are you talking about? What has made you come to this conclusion you 2 digit iq pebian?
While I will always prefer Hamil, I must say: Baker comes at a VERY close second.
Well this sounds like something the Joker would say. (hm hm hm hm ha ha ha ha ahaaa ha ha ha ha ha....)
Troy Baker deserves a fricking Oscar or something!! He's so fucking amazing!!
I love how the mic echo makes it like more epic sounds like he's talking across a whole structure or an abandoned city . Sounds awesome
When I played Arkham Orogins I didn't even know Hammill hadn't been the voice till I saw the credits
Same
Which is funny because as soon as Batman spoke, I was like, "That's not Kevin Conroy!!"
Coming back to this years later, because it still gives me the chills haha. I love it! Thanks for sharing your experience!:)
Troy Baker is simply amazing
I noticed he changed the order of the lines slightly at the end of the monologue but I like his way better actually :D
I swear, Troy Baker, Nolan North and Roger-Craig Smith are in everything together.
Just wow. I still cant get over how talented Troy is 😁😉😁😁
Troy Baker is the best voice actor
Troy's voice is a gift from God. Definitely my favourite voice actor.
When he stopped laughing he covered his mouth like Joaquin Phoenix’s joker in the movie
Chills. just chills.
I've gotta go play Arkham origins again...
Troy baker is my favorite actor for a reason
Awww he blushed so much and was so shy by the end. That was so cute.
These voice actors are amazing man
Baker did so well it took me 3 ingame cutscenes to figure out it wasn’t Hamill in Origins. Then when i realised it his own persona really started to shine through
Guess we can have a live action joker with that voice now!
I come back to this about once or twice a year and each time I'm just in awe. Incredible
We all need a joker. He's right here. If they can cast vampire boy as batman, they can cast him.
Troy is like the young version of Hamill’s Joker.
For all purposes..... Mr. Baker is The Joker. I don't know about the future, but for now, He is the best voice for the Clown Prince of crime. * Salute *
When he begins his monologue, I close my eyes and find myself in either Arkham Asylum or Arkham City. That's how good he is
I could look at him forever.
I was here. At the end of it they handed out a bunch of merch. And i was dressed as the joker with a full foam latex prosthetic face. He personally handed me a Batarang bottle opener. One of the best days ever. Great dude
Now do Joel.

Pagan Min!
This thread turned into an amazing request list lmao
+Brittany Santiago yeah it did lol...
2:32 would be a great trait for a new joker...after laughing...cover your mouth
I got CHILLS at the laugh! ICONIC!!!!
Possibly the best part about this is he knows he nailed it and about shocked himself.
This guy has voiced Tim Drake/Robin, Harvey Dent/Two Face, The Joker, Bruce Wayne/Batman. He’s that talented.
He did an amazing job. He can most definitely have the ability to replace Mark when the time comes
I remember hearing the news of Mark Hamill announcing that he was threw with the Joker Voice and moving on to different things. When I heard this news I quite literally almost became depressed. I'm extremely nostalgic as most nerds are and I thought that it was an end of an era. However, When I heard Bakers version of the Joker I was very well pleased.
Robdizzle2010 And when I heard Hamill was going to return as the the Joker in Arkham Knight in one final performance, I had an orgasm.
He's also gonna be the joker in the killing joke movie coming out next year ;)
Robin Burnette R-R-Really? [ejaculates]
HECK YEAHH!!!! Great News!!!!!! Thanks for the updates everyone :]
This man is a national treasure
I'm seriously impressed. It's like magic.
he was so modest when they cheered, love this guy
