I interviewed him for a small local station in SoCal when he won the CIF player of the year his senior year, he was so polite and really easy to talk to as an 18 year old

Has Mark Sanchez rapidly become anybody else’s top one or two favorite analysts?
What FOX has done that I liked that, maybe CBS opened the floodgates with Romo, getting analysts fresh out of the game (Olson, Talib, Mark). I like it because they have experiences facing Aaron Donald, or Talib's case playing with Aaron Donald. Talib, what is an Arians offense like to do? Olson, you played with Russ what is his preparation like compared to other QBs you played with?
They can give more insight on those things then let's say Collinsworth. I want balance with it so it's nice to have guys who have been in the league in some capacity for the last 30 years, and it's to have who just left the locker room.
I know Aikman is the A-team on FOX, and NO disrespect to him but Sanchez and Greg Olsen are definitely right on his heels as the best analysts on FOX.
Regardless of football Pete Carroll is a standup guy. Back in 2002 in Tampa I was waiting to get in to see the first Spider-man movie. Meanwhile a theater was entirely bought out by Carroll to treat underprivileged kids to a night at the movies. No media hype around it. He did it for the kids.
Most celebs go those things, and they should. When much is given, much is expected. Besides, it’s a tax write off monetarily. The real gift is their time.

I think Sanchez found his niche. Think he is a great game caller.
I also think the Giants are gonna go all in for Russ. Love when I see Sanchez on segments of these shows. He knows his stuff and has the personality for this. Loved him with my Jets and am happy to see him find so much success in broadcasting and as an analyst.

Sanchez last year Brady was 10 to 3 in the playoffs and got them the lead early so the pass rushers could tee off. He could have scored more in 2 of the 4 but used the clock.

The problem with you scenarios is this. If you get a top corner at the expense of your All Pro starting quarterback, getting Shepherd is a wash. You no longer need a Sterling Shepherd because you gutted your offense to get one corner.
If you look at Mahomes and Tannehill's numbers this year, other than passing yards and passing touchdowns (different offensive schemes) they are very similar. Passing yds and touchdowns will obviously affect QBR and rating, but:
Tannehill: 14 picks
Mahomes: 13 picks
Tannehill: 10 fumbles
Mahomes: 9 fumbles
Tannehill: 66.9 comp %
Mahomes: 66.6 comp %
In a game, especially if Tennessee hosts (which they should), their defense can limit Mahomes and Hill, Vrabel's a great coach, and Henry and Foreman can run it down KC's throat.
